Better than a platform bed IMO

Better than a platform bed IMO

I kinda like it too. No need for night stands. I'd want it bigger though.

Get the regular PSP in my opinion. The Vita's features seem real social network and novelty oriented; nothing worth the price tag or a new piece of hardware, especially since it screws you out some things you may have purchased before. That bed would be so awesome. I sleep with my back to the wall(no idea why) so 3 walls would be epic.
Another neat bed, if designed right would be something like a pit bed.
Best example was used as John's bed in the movie Help! another thing, just think how hard it'd be to put the fitted sheet on those

Quoting yourself isn't cool, but I wanted to note that I got my friend a PSP recently and I'm kinda jealous of the fact she has one now. She can pretty much play FF4-9 (the best ones IMO) along with Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross all portable and running off her memory stick (PSN downloads) without the need to disc swap. It's a dream come true for a golden years JRPG lover like I am. I'm just a bit disappointed that psp still costs a lot! I was hoping with time price would drop more!

Yeah, you'd think with what Sony didn't sell and all the backstock that they could afford to reduce their older systems down, but I guess not. $130 is a bit steep for such an old system, especially since the 3DS is brand new and is only $170. The PSP in my opinion should be no more than $99 Then again I'm speaking in USD. Not sure how much more expensive the exchange rate would be in Italy. It exists for that low...? Last time I checked at the shop it was 170€ <_<
Phoenix.Sehachan said: » It exists for that low...? Last time I checked at the shop it was 170€ <_< I paid $130 for mine on Amazon. Is there an EU version of amazon perhaps? Ramuh.Rowland said: » Depends which PSP you buy. The keep remaking newer models. I haven't bought my PSP in at least 2-3 years, so they might be on a higher version than PSP3000. If you buy an older brand they are probably going used for $75. Last I recall, 3000 was the newest model (excluding the godawful "Go") There is the E-1000, but it doesn't appear to have any special advantages over the 3000 other than being newer. It also appears they dropped it's wireless support >.> I hate the market of technology!!
Oh okay I see now. The E-1000 is a "budget" release of the PSP, which is available for about $99. However, it does not support wifi and the built-in speakers are mono instead of stereo. I'd just go with the 3000 model if it can be helped.
Phoenix.Sehachan said: » I hate the market of technology!! I'll make you pancakes if it makes you feel better. psp has been the best handheld on the market since it came out. hack it and play anything you want for free.
or get a 3ds and play tales of the abyss like me. This is the second time in two days that I've woken up before 8am. :|

Has the 3000 model been hackable yet? I know it was significantly harder as the 1000 model only required you to mess with the pins on the battery pack. My psp died, and I did a little on the inside as well.

Has the 3000 model been hackable yet? I know it was significantly harder as the 1000 model only required you to mess with the pins on the battery pack. i have a 3000. i replaced a 1000 that had busted speakers and was later stolen. i don't know if there is a full hack for it yet. the one i have doesn't hack the system flash, so i have to reload it every time the battery dies or it crashes. other than that it's good. it's called chickenHENr2. you load that exploit and it makes it so you can load a temp custom firmware that runs psp/ps1/emulators/homebrew apps. Bismarck.Nevill said: » My psp died, and I did a little on the inside as well. my condolences. have you tried unbricking it with a pandora battery? Ramuh.Rowland said: » I have a 3000, sounds like a lot of work. The battery dies so fast it almost doesn't sound worth it. the battery dies fast when you play games that require umd. running a disc drive is very battery intensive. i can get 9+ hours out a full charge playing ps1 games. it really only takes like 30 seconds to hack it. you turn on your psp, go to images, scroll to the last image. when it loads the psp will crash and restart. then you go to games and hit the custom firmware loader. you start that, it loads the firmware and reboots again. unless your battery dies you never have to load it again. Ragnarok.Hevans said: » Bismarck.Nevill said: » My psp died, and I did a little on the inside as well. my condolences. have you tried unbricking it with a pandora battery? No I have not. I think I just need to send it in for repair. I never hacked it or anything, it just won't charge or come on or anything. Question though, can I transfer my save files to a flash drive and then to my ps3? I still have my PSP, it has a cracked screen on the top left corner. it sucks....
instead of buying yet another psp, I got a vita. waiting a week or 2 for gravity rush~ edit: yeah transferring files on a psp to another is rather easy, every few months id backup my save files on my laptop. came in handy quite a few times, mainly because id use the mem card on my digital cam.
