For a good year I would always have to initiate with the former BF, that I was with for nearly five years, come to find out he was cheating on me for half a year before I booted him. Cest la vie.

It's way too easy for guys especially to forget about foreplay. It's something we have to actually work at. Not sure why, maybe it's because for social norms guys are expected to be less intimate and manly oo-rah etc.. and that sort of sensual stuff doesn't always seem manly.
