Love poems! ;; Every single poetry teacher I ever had told us to never write them because it was next to impossible to not be melodramatic. Then my second-to-last semester of poetry training, my professor required a love poem. Hardest dang thing I've ever had to write.

I ended up writing a poem about a girl eating a chocolate bar and making it sound naughty, just to skirt around the emotional edges of such a poem. Impossible.
Poems about love are pretty easy for me to write, but then again, it's more just writing about feelings bad and good and it's very common on the radio too. DAMN YOU POP ARTISTS, YOU'RE CHEAPENING MY MOOSHY SIDE!
