To be totally honest, I wouldn't even bother playing this game if I couldn't use windower + spellcast. Asura.Dominate said: » Bahamut.Jetackuu said: » for some it is, and to some it is. How many people really don't have a computer in their own home by now, besides old people, or even an iPad (or equivalent). again like I said: more than you would think. Even with the gamepad, it still sucked. even if they could using billing information on a public computer would be quite frankly stupid. and no the frame rate/load is slightly enhanced on the ps2. due to lack of proper porting The PS2 may handle the load/framerate better than other systems but it still runs the game at an overall lower fps than any decent computer. Edit~ Yeah Mag a good pc can make the world of difference. About the only place I drop below 28-29 fps is in Port Jeuno around Joachim and even there I only drop to around 24 (with best possible settings). ... Oh geez.
Edit! Also, even if they don't have a PC or don't want to use a public PC, I would bet money a friend or relative would have one. And in all honesty, the whole security issue isn't all that bad if you're buying a gamecard for crysta. Srsly, excuses! Srsly, excuses! still have to login to SE account and I wouldn't dare do that on a public computer. The school I go to is the exception because they have deepfreeze. Again some people just don't have access to a web browser still in this day and age. I'm never going to get these last two episodes of Claymore watched. lol
Post a thread recruiting people for a ls. Get on most searched. My mule isn't linked so its just a blank page.

It's paranoia. Bahamut.Jetackuu said: » Asura.Dominate said: » Bahamut.Jetackuu said: » Asura.Dominate said: » ... Oh geez. Edit! I do agree with this to a point, though most properly managed public PCs won't allow you to go anywhere that has a chance of infecting said computer. I'll even wager that the majority of personal computers have more malware, etc. on them than a public computer at a university. Still though, how hard is it to get a simple (yet horrible) computer from walmart or elsewhere. I mean $200-300 can buy a PC easily. Asura.Dominate said: » lol I suppose you know what kind of malware is on your machine at all times too, yar? It's paranoia. none. How were we not talking about those? <.<
Asura.Dominate said: » I bet. know every single process on my pc, don't have to worry about it. I guess I'm lucky then. Just about all public computers around here use either chrome or firefox and if you even try to go to (what I know for a fact are) malware infested sites they block them.
By around here I mean the library in town and the community college nearby. They actually have hidden IE from the uneducated public eye and only left one of the aforementioned browsers in plain view. I can't remember what protection they use though, been almost two years since I've set foot in those labs. Asura.Bartimaeus said: » Asura.Dominate said: » lol I suppose you know what kind of malware is on your machine at all times too, yar? It's paranoia. And with the malware, you can generally~ know when you have something or when something is acting up if you know your PC pretty well. He's not 100% sure even if he says so, but there's ways to be 'in the know' about it so close to that number that it might as well be. /shrug I am 100% sure. Any time your computer is connected to the internet, you pose some risk of being infected in one way or another. Just it's highly unlikely these days (unless you're already infected). |
