The persians have no idea whats comming... Gunna have to start going through threads at random for names soon.

That would be Civilization 5.

And yeah, those Persians are about to get *** up. That's enough to conquer almost any Civilization.. There will be that occasional random one who built up fighting forces like mad. But in general, even moderately prepared ones won't be able to handle that.

And omg French? You're conquering the world as the French?

I love Double-Shot Thursdays on the radio station. <3 Whoever invented Double-Shot Thursday is my temporary hero.

All I think when I hear 'double shot' is downing 2 shots of liquor..

Double Shot Thursday on the radio means they play two songs by the same artist in a row. And since it's a rock station, you never have to suffer through two Adele songs! :D

Yeh, this is actually my first game of it so the +2 culture per city in the early game seemed nice... I renamed the country and stuff so we are french only in colour!

Really have no idea what to do with this when I am done >.>

Do what I do, start another game. I don't even always wait til I actually 'won'.. When there's no chance they could win, I usually start a new game, because by then, everything takes so long <_<

Oh and the French thing was more about the French in the real world not the game world <.<

German is pretty cool in game.. As long as you can keep up with the costs, you can build an army pretty damn quickly with them. Converting all those barbarians stacks up pretty quickly. Just make a few units early on and go hunting, put your city to producing buildings/structures rather than units, which in turn makes your army or civilization as a whole stronger..

Russia is another good one, for early-mid game expansion.. There's one who gives a bonus to oil for late game expansion.

I don't think I've ever actually played a game of any of the previous ones through to the end... would just get to the point where each turn took long enough that I lost interest. This time however all the things must be conquered and renamed for AH.

They have pointy sticks still and I have tanks... I think air support would be more annoying to use than helpful XD

Why a city can sling-shot rocks at my stealth bomber is still a mystery to me. . .

I love all kinds of music from most genres. If a song is catchy and has a good beat, there's a good chance I'll like it even if the lyric content is crude or vulgar. ;; This is what happens when you aren't allowed to listen to anything but Elvis and old choirs singing hymns growing up! You go crazy on music!

So yay.. I've had no sleep, my son has pretty much gotten to skate under the radar for the last few days because my sleeping schedule has been so *** up, but generally he *** up in school, he sits in here with me, no games or running around and playing.. But today, I'm up, and don't plan on going to sleep anytime soon, I know he screwed up in school already, I've just come to expect it..

So in about 30 minutes, I get to listen to him cry and ***until his bed time... With no sleep. My day is about to take a turn for the worse.. Ahh the joys of being a parent.

I dislike her music. She has a beautiful voice, don't get me wrong! But every single song she's sang that I've heard is some mournful, so-sad-you-left-me, whiny song. I listen to music because it makes me happy, not so it can make me sad. So I dislike *most* songs with sad content anyways. But honestly, some of her stuff is just over-the-top. "I wish nothing but the best for you two!" Yeh right. For one, if one of my exes told me that I'd be creeped out that they were even thinking of me x-number of years later, and for two you know it's not true. She might be glad her ex is happy, but I guarantee she doesn't give a rip-roaring hoot about the other girl. >.> And "set fire to the rain" ... no. Even if that was in any way physically possible, no one wants fire to be raining down. Sodom and Gomorrah round 2? Thanks, I'll pass. xD

But anyhow, I can't get caught saying any of that out loud, everyone around here loves Adele!

Well his everyday trouble is constant talking, making noise, not following direction, he just doesn't listen, and doesn't know how to sit and be quiet. Wife's already been called in for a parent teacher conference thing and teacher was basically asking her what to do with him, then wife started telling her how he acts at home (when I'm not in viewing range or I'm asleep, he only acts right when I'm staring at him) and she basically said 'wow' and I imagine that taru /comfort motion..

We've tried just about everything, can't get him to act right, talked to him like an adult, talked to him like a child, spankings don't work on him at all, the only thing that seems to bother him is coming in here and sitting in the corner.. I can't go to school with him and just stand there staring at him all day to make him act right, but I'm the only one who can make him act right..
