Except there are plenty of relationships where one side is completely happy and content, and the other side is happy too. This is what they voiced. They then go and cheat/leave for no explicable reason. Sure seems like chance to me. I've seen it often.

One partner ACTIVELY chose to cheat/leave. There is a choice , a thought process that goes on when you say, hey this naked chick over here isn't my GF but I think I shall sexeh time her anyways.

Choice creates chance. Everyday you make the choice to get up and do whatever it is that you do. Puting yourself anywhere in the world is a choice. What happens is chance. Being shot in the convience store is chance. The gunman could of shot someone else. Being cheated on is chance. You're just as likely to get a partner who will cheat on you as you are to find one who will not. The reasons/situations are always different, but there is no way to be certain of someone else's choices. I.E. It's chance.

you being cheated on is CHANCE by a partner who CHOSE to cheat. is what I was meaning to get at. If both people CHOSE to not cheat, there would be no CHANCE for it to happen
