I worked for a furniture store delivering furniture for a while. It was actually fun. A bit rough with the king size sleepers.. but overall enjoyable because people are always so happy when you get it in and setup.

I have a working VCR. Oh yeah. I was able to fit all those tapes into 2 boxes to take with me.

i have an uncle who owns a furniture store outside of tampa. nothing was worse than visiting family down there for spring break and ending up as child labor. worse than that actually, my grandma was an interior decorator. so, just delivering a few pieces could end up being two days of rearranging an entire house worth of furniture til it was just right.
today wasn't too bad. though.

If the VHS tapes are in good condition, and you have money to throw around, you could get the tapes converted into DVDs~
Or you could just torrent everything (if it's available). If you can't find a way to torrent any of that, I'd get it put on DvD.

These tapes atm really just hold a special spot for being one of my happier memories from my childhood, so kind of just holding on to them for nostalgia sake.

Finally figured out what I am! Sort of. I've always known that my dad's family is Irish on both sides, but having not been in contact with my mom since I was a child, I had no information on that side of the family.
So I nosed around and annoyed some people and dug through some family dirt and found out that on my mom's side, my grandpa is an Irishman and my grandma was half Scottish (the McArthur family) and half French-Canadian. Now what on earth "French-Canadian" is, I don't know. From France? From Canada? What? Anyhow.
So I'm 3/4 Irish, 1/8 Scottish, and 1/8 "French Canadian."
No wonder I wanted to be a Celtic singer from the time I was born til the time I realized I couldn't sing worth a toot. ^^ It's in my blood!

There were a few years where I felt like that and I know my dad was disappointed with me. Then after a while he started watching me play the games and competing and he started to approve and enjoy watching me game.
It took a while but he had finally accepted what I did even though I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life.
