Honestly I don't know who's at fault here. Scragg for promising access, the people who were butthurt about the original wording of the post and reported it, or will Cliff get in trouble?

GW1 was a fun game, I enjoyed it. If I could get Night to play it with me......

GW2 looks verrrrry promising. Then again, so did 14. I still have high hopes though. XD

Honestly I think Scragg was just trying to do something nice for this community here, but then it got out of hand between people who never posted, people only signing up to AH to post in that thread, and as always the butthurt force.
The amount of mayad is unprecedented. I'm not sure which end this is a cover up on, but the whining kids make it worthwhile either way.
14 has a good team working on it now, but the lack of content is whats really hurting it at the moment.
Its Basically Ifrit/Moogle/Darkhold. The fights are incredibly fun, and actually somewhat challenging as well.
With Yoshida in charge im sure 2.0 will be everything they are trying to make it out to be.
They really did release it way too damn early, should have waited another year, it honestly wasnt even really a game on release...

I almost was going to give 14 a try myself, but by the time I had the time and got around to it, it was a pay to play beta imo. So nah. I'll just have to wait until 2.0 and see what people say.

I REALLY hated the auto attack, I dunno if they've fixed it, but it was so damned unintuitive.. There was no one in my LS who liked it, either.
And yes, that is a lot like all the other MMOs, but most MMOs have other stuff to offer, I mean for leveling you can page burn, go to abby, and what not, for gear there are different types of NMs to camp, the traditional ones, the stuff in abby, and so on..
When I left they were headed in the right direction, we were at least starting to get some damn varying content.. but it wasn't enough to keep me really interested, when my 'egls' had a bunch of drama and fall out, I just didn't bother going back.

Well 11 is pretty disappointing at the moment, so bad that I leveled a RDM mule to spend hours soloing something instead of spending hours not getting drops in VW.

You very well know I don't do anything in the game anymore aside from playing with Matt. I don't take much convincing. Persuade him and I'm always up for new things. Unless of course they revive FFXI with a new expansion in which case I shall never leave, ever!

I played during Beta and release, game was pretty damn terrible, its actually improved quite a bit since then though.
I started back up right after they released the Ifrit fight and started to absolutley love the game.
Although once youve done Ifrit/Moogle/Darkhold X-ammount of times it starts to get old.
This coming update is supposed to be pretty big too, adding real FF jobs PLD/MNK/DRG/BRD/WHM/BLM and two new instanced raid type dungeons, along with some other stuff.
I do think they should have held off till this update on re-implementing the monthly fees though.
