edit: Who's to say you can't go back and write poetry, now? At least nowadays you have more patience and knowledge than when you were in HS (I'm using "you" generically here; not sure if you actually were that way or not, I know I was). It wouldn't hurt to write it out.
I think back to Stephen Crane. He wrote so many amazing poems in such a short span, dying at 29. It's as easy as picking up a pen or pencil (or a word processor). It's funny, though. I actually just began writing poetry for the first time in ages myself tonight. lol

Oh, I get it now. Craaaaaap. I honestly wish I could continue talking with you about this, but I have class in the morning, so... All I can say is, I wish I had the rebellious edge to do something like that, but if anything it's given you a route to expressing your smartassed side.

Probably not, I'm not much of a reader.
Hell in school for book reports and ***, I didn't even read the *** thing.. I read a page or two and wrote a paragraph or two, then skipped ahead and did this until I had enough to be considered a 'report'.. Then read the last 4 or 5 pages and summarized the ending.
Never failed me, either. I always got A's. Although that's probably more because I knew our entire school was filled with lazy teachers and no teacher was going to read a book just to call me on my ***.

So I decided to find something to watch, a documentary on decay.. They built a 'model home' filled with all the foods and ***you'd expect to find in the ordinary home, and are just gonna let it sit, for 8 weeks.. I mean there's everything from an open bottled of wine and fruits/vegetables, to a chicken that's ready to be dressed..
It's all in a glass case about 25 x 25 foot.. All I could think is "Oh god, the smell of all that at 8 weeks.
