FFXI makes me want to smash my computer

Does anyone get like a memory leak or something with windower?
It doesn't always happen, but sometimes after running for a few hours it'll start slowing down considerably, to a point where I'm getting like 15-20FPS, it leaves the game pretty much unplayable when it gets that bad.
I have an i7, 9GB DDR3 RAM and a 2GB HD6950. So yeah, it's not like my computer is being robbed in other places and it's translating into the windower.. My computer has plenty of power to go around.

But I really, really doubt you're going to get addicted from one night.
There is something you should be aware of though.. Pure extacy (MDMA) is almost unheard of anymore.. A lot of it is only part MDMA and laced with other drugs. There's actually a site with a catalog of pills thousands if not tens of thousands long where you can look up what you have and see what it's in it.

Edit~ Also, when it starts doing this, is it your memory or your processor that is maxing out (if they are at all), and how much memory is your instance of ffxi (under windower) using?

And I can't check task manager to see my memory, it causes the game to crash.. I know there are programs out there somewhere I could use, but I'm not quite that concerned about it. It's just a minor inconvenience.

Well I was having memory problems, though not quite the same as what you described.
I'm going to assume you can't check task manager because of one of two things. Either, when you go to bring it up UAC pops up and dims the screen (causing ffxi to crash), or you press ctrl + alt + delete and that full screen window pops up (where you pick start task manager).
If the former is the case, then you can drop your UAC level one notch on the slider just to prevent the screen from dimming out. It should be under your User Account settings. If the later is the case, you can press ctrl + shift + esc instead to directly bring up task manager without having to go through that full screen *** menu.
I don't use UAC, that ***gets turned off as soon as I get a computer or upon reformat. I use CTL ALT DEL. I'll try to remember that other method next time it happens.

Yeah, I hate UAC too, just I know a lot of people prefer to just keep it on for some weird *** reason. Which case, the aforementioned method works for them. Wasn't sure of your stance on it though so I just went with that option.
If you do remember to check it out the next time it happens, let me know what it reports. I may be able to help pinpoint your problem.
A couple questions though for when it does happen. Are you a spellcast/autoexec user? Do you use any other 3rd party programs to assist you in-game? (Not that I care about the use of them, just some of them handle memory/processor cycles horribly.)

lol Yeah UAC never made much sense to me, unless you have all kinds of viruses and other crap on your computer trying to start up programs or something for you. Which case, there's more wrong than UAC can help with.
Ok well that rules out some possibilities then. Just let me know what task manager reports next time it happens, if you happen to remember.
Oh another way to launch task manager is to right-click your taskbar and choose "Task Manager". Either way will prevent the full screen menu freezy way.

didn't know that shortcut and system explorer is great, just started using it.
as for memory leak, I've played for hours before and no issues, may be a particular plugin you have.
