So... My xbox live gold was not due to run out until the 27th, I go onto xbox.com to turn the auto renew off (since I was only using it for netflix and finally got a cord so I can get my monitor over to the TV) so everything was fine, this was ... uh ... 3 days ago? Gold was working fine this morning up until I left for class (which was around 5:30PMish?)

I just got home from class and I was getting settled in so I can watch some netflix when BAM, my xbox account has been "suspended" due to "payment issues"



Is this their subtle way of grabbing you by the balls and squeezing or what? My account should not have been suspended at all, I know for a fact that I have time on this account and should not have been suspended.


Oh god, I am going to have a field day with these *** tomorrow, I'm demanding some kind of compensation for this bull.

What more can you expect? It's Microsoft, they excel in making you pay for things that should be free.

canceling auto-renewing is not canceling Xbl-Gold I think ?

It's not "cancelling" but more of a "Hey, don't renew my 'x' months of xbl I'm broke!" option, it's telling them that I don't want to have gold anymore and want to just suspend the gold until I can pay for it again.


They won't let you completely take a card off file unless you call them and like suck them off (I'm guessing) which is utter ***.

Now I wonder if tomorrow if I should piddle around with the newbies in there or go straight to the head guy.

bah, trying to get a similar setup as was with my 360, had it wired through my LAN via ethernet so I 'shared' my connection with my PC and 360, trying to do it with my PS3 and it's not letting me.


anyone ever done this and care to stem me through it? I must be doing something wrong or something.
