Both of us are. His grandparents (if I remember correctly) and my mother is from Weisbaden, Germany.
Odin.Headstrong said: And Bavaria is kinda like the Texas of Germany lol
It's still beautiful! I spent a couple of summers at Herrenchimsee. Uri is from Georgia and I'm from Texas, so we'll be just fine amongst our stereotyped brethren.

To each their own I suppose. I don't understand the fascination. I've always been a fan of the real deal though.
LOL!

This conversation made me think of this scene from 'Inglourious Basterds'

The doggie docs gonna dig that slug outta your gam. Then he's gonna wrap it up in a cast, and you gotta good how I broke my leg mountain climbing story. That's German, ain't it? Y'all like climbin' mountains, don'tcha?
I don't. I like smoking, drinking, and ordering in restaurants, but I see your point.

Is it kinda action-y? Those are my favorite ones. The gory-ish action/adventure fighting movies. I like comedy too, but I don't tolerate movies that just sit and talk for ages well, or that are all lovey-dovey. James Bond, Boondock Saints, Alien, Die Hard, etc > Sleepless in Seattle (blech), Sarah Plain and Tall, etc.
Also, I want another puppy just so I can name it Bebop. Bebop and Pixel would be excellent pals, for sure!

True, but I think in a way it's kind of incomparable to previous Tarantino movies.

You sound like me! LOL! Rom-Coms and chick-flicks annoy me. Horror, action, historical, historical-fiction or GTFO!

All I know is I enjoyed it in the theater, but haven't been able to sit through the entire movie since.

Rock-n-rolla wasn't too bad, but considering I'm a bookfag, I hate the Sherlock Holmes movies because they totally ruined the character.

To be honest I see where Spence is coming from but at the same time. I love the new side of Holmes.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
