I got a sudden urge to play FFXI :<
Damn it, now I wanna level up Ranger.

Don't do it. you will get caught in the downward spiral of FFXI.

First you want to level ranger. hey this is pretty fun! Then you'll be running low on ammo and gil.

No worries. Just have to farm a bit. After farming for a few hours you decide to level thf to make farming easier. You get thf up to cap and decide you want to gear it up some because people are making fun of you in port jeuno. So you sit there shouting for seal groups for hours on end but noone wants to take a thf so you start leveling ninja so you can get groups easier.

You use the last of your gil to level ninja and farm the seals for your thf and farm the gil for your ranger. Now you can happily level your ranger! You get to cap and get geared up only to find noone wants rangers in endgame.

Now you are sad.

The funny part is. I would be leveling every job you mentioned on a singular character despite being an altoholic.

People want Ranger for Voidwatch. :<

I'd be one of those jerks that shows up as whatever the hell I want.
Unless it was particularly a lowman instance where job selection was vital to the outcome.

I'm still only 25 :x I've been sucked headfirst into skyrim lol.

it was soooo weird too.

It was like at some scuba diving exercise ( i never went scuba diving)
and it was in the river and for some reason I was the camera guy recording the training performance of these divers.

So i was standing on the ledge with my gear and through the microphone i heard someone screaming "PUT YOUR MASK BACK ON PUT YOUR MASK BACK ON!!"

so I immediately dove into the water and swam to the location of hte incident. there were like 3 people around this one guy in the water trying to put his mask back on before the guy ran out of air and would eventually drown. All of a sudden its like a huge cloud of blood explodes from his nose and mouth and eyes and i was like HOLY *** ***and I woke up kinda shaking.


well time to drink a v8 and play League :|

Half of the zone is pvp, the other half is daily quests

I know you weren't asking me, but I got certified in a shitty lake in minnesota, & have never been anywhere worthwhile since :(

I have a friend around Lake Jackson whose parents just bought him a dive shop to run (/jealous). I still need to go check it out. It's on a private, fresh-water lake. He said for the most part, they have pretty good clarity. The person who owned it before used to buy old airplanes, buses, etc., and sank them so people would have something to "explore".

I really really need to find the time to go down there.
