I wish Magnuss would enlighten me as to the ability to get lost in the new Star Wars MMO.

I didn't get the chance to play FFXI new (I started playing a few years after it's conception, about the time that Level Sync came out), so I don't have that frame of reference. However, Star Wars does have a lot of great ways to level and the quests make it a helluva lot easier. I don't have to sit and wait with my flag up for hours in the hope that I might be able to get a party with which to level up. All I have to do is go out in the world and do a few quests. Plus the cutscenes and the ability to gain points by making certain decisions are great in their own right. I'm driven by story, so watching those really make the game great for me. It's always cool to see my character act like a total arrogant *** and tell the guy in the cutscene that he needs to pay me or I cut him down. So yeah, I think it's worth it, even on my craptastic computer.

New to you...was what I meant. Thanks, btw, that was about what I needed. I could tell by the way you described it that you are having a blast with it. If I ever stop having fun with COD, Skyrim and Zelda I may move to it. Depends on if we have another amazing season of game launches this spring. Wish I had the time to put into MMOs like I did for 7 years with FFXI

leaast with SWTOR ya dont even haave to spend hours on end playing. ya can actualy play at your own pace without the pressure of making it to max level ASAP to do ***like alot of other MMOs.

Precisely. It doesn't have that hurry up and wait mentality. Only have an hour? That's at least 2 quests, and a couple bars of XP, and then you're off for the day. Well, assuming you can find a cantina. I think I spent an hour the other day trying to find the cantina in Nar Shadaa...

Good to hear. I've even thought about WOW, but it's just too gimmicky for me. I played it for 14 day free trial and had 2 level 20 chars with like 4g each. I only played it for 4 days because it was in the way of FFXI at the time. WOW people were flabbergasted...I was like "meh"

Liking the sound of SWTOR more and more.

eh yea thats the only thing i hated about XIV.. basicly got to a point where it was, want to do somethiing? go level this job, wana do something else? first job is crap go level this job now, wana do a 3rd thing? go level 2 more jobs youl never use again.. ***got annoying lol
