No, I felt it to be extremely lacking. I found that the actors were not right for the dialogue they had to perform and because of that it came out ridiculous.
I'm not pissy at all. I'm rather amused. It seems you expect way too much from films.

Did you miss the tales of corruption in the government and how the council was content to leave their king for dead? The utter lack of urgency even in times of war? Or the significance of Leonidas's spear toss?

There was more to it than just gore, though there was a lot of that :P

Nope, but that's nothing new. It didn't bring anything new to the table.

Every foe can be defeated; got it.

It was a very basic movie. Brought nothing new, and was entertaining but not some deep pool.

The thing is, the entire movie is based on an exaggerated tale of a singular battle in ancient history. There really isn't as heavily a need for complex or compelling dialog. To single it out or judge heavily in that respect is rather foolish.

I'm not pissy at all. I'm rather amused. It seems you expect way too much from films.

I appreciate it for what it is: a beer and nacho film. If I want to watch an amazingly made movie I'll watch something like The Godfather, Inception, LoTR, etc...

If I want to have a good time with the guys, I'll put on 300. All I'm saying

this ^ a romanticized portrayal of a 3 day battle, if you were expecting anything profound its your fault lol


but you are still downplaying it as if that makes it ***lol its a good movie

It was probably that bug in the system.

I wish I had one of those cycles, disregarding the fact I could kill myself, I'd have a blast riding everywhere. OH YEAH, ADRENALINE.
