It's just something she'd like in the future. do people just propose out of the blue? I thought getting married was a little more serious than that if you even care about marriage lol you should know if the other person is ready or not or youre just setting yourself up for something like this^
It's far from pre-discussed in a lot of cases, guy's been dating a girl for a couple of years, really likes her, hell they really like each other, little or no problems, yet there's still every chance when he does propose she'll say no.
lol why are you dating for a "couple of years" if neither person is ready to "get married" (whatever that means anymore) and then unaware of your partner's stance on the subject.. a lot of people get married solely for tax purposes.. I just dont understand how people are caught oblivious like this guy was outside of her being embarrassed at being on the jumbotron or whatever
you have to know and it has to be a desperate longshot at saving your relationship lol thats the only situation I could see somebody saying no and then the man deserves no pity also why dont women ever propose?!?! this isnt the 1600's anymore, keep perpetuating your stereotypes though ladies! I dunno how to make it make sense to you, but it does.. Maybe someone else can come along and put it in words that I can't.

what im saying is something like that (getting married) shouldnt be a surprise to either person at the stage of the relationship where marriage happens lol so dont feel bad for that guy hes probably a jackass anyways

Some people simply don't want to get married. I think it's weird to me when those same people are in long term relationships. 2 of my friends have been together for 7 years now. They have 2 children. The female refuses to get married, the male wants to. She says "I don't need a piece of paper to prove my love for him." I think she's just afraid of being unhappily married like her parents.
Quetzalcoatl.Yomisha said: » Marry me, Fondue!? what states allow human/robot marriage? :P Japan.. Or wherever that guy married that video game character or whatever. I'm pretty sure it was Japan, it was definitely an Asian country.
oh word?
and ya thats how I feel lol ' "I don't need a piece of paper to prove my love for him." ' so maybe I just view people who get married as taking it a little bit more seriously, and I don't mean talking it out and planning ahead or whatever, but there is some sort of mutual (unspoken) feeling toward the matter that's well defined whether a person wants to accept it or not lol >.> it doesnt look very romantic :(
Then we can go wherever you want, Fondboo. <3
It's a trap, the woman always makes the decisions in these matters.. If you answer wrong, she'll be bitchy until you ask her what's wrong or what her problem is.. On your 10th time (or the 7th day, whichever comes last) she'll finally let it all out.
