You also couldn't get away with having a nationalized cooking show and throwing that much butter in ***unless you had that accent.. People just let her get away with it because 'she's from the south, they put butter on their butter after they deep fry their butter in lard'.

I know that <_< but I've been to other places than Texas.. Louisiana and Arkansas. Neither really sounds that much different..
I'm not saying all of the south sounds like Texas, but when someone has an accent so damned thick and ridiculously stereotypical that I face palm and go 'wut?' I start to get a little suspicious.
I can hear the differences in both Louisiana and Arkansas, but it's not ridiculous like the difference between me and her.
