The Caturae are from an ancient indian chess like game named Caturanga in which the Raja is the king, Rani is the queen Kutharei is the "knight" Yaanei is the "bishop" Iratham is the "Rook" and Sippoy is the pawn. SE designs these Monsters well as Raja gives a title of King murderer translated and drops atma of the despot meaning one ruling with absolute power even cruelly. His signature move is also royal decree. Rani his queen is much more powerful just like in chess. her signature move can enthrall you forcing you to do her bidding and even giving you a costume of one of her normal pawns lol keeping in the race's ruthless nature her atma is (merciless woman in power) translated and title given is decrowner Kutharei the knight is equally well designed as his signature move is the exact title of a knight leading troops (A Banneret) and his atma is that of a mounted champion just like any knight on his steed. His title is unhorser upon defeat as well Yaanei the bishop is fitting as well being a leader of high authority and high placement, spawns above a tower and even giving atma of the impregnable tower upon defeat. His signature move is translated to "a curse given to those laying seige to a castle/fortress" and title given is crasher. Iratham the rook or chariot gives the title of "capturer" upon defeat and is notoriously second in command below the queen in power. Just like in the game at lvl 80 cap he was by far more difficult than other (at current lvl cap) Caturae. Sippoy the pawn is fittingly given no signature move and drops atma of the would be king, a play on the fact pawns forever dream about ruling and also fitting his atma sucks lol
One should note that in Caturanga, the "Queen" piece is actually noted as being a General or Counselor, and in the original game was actually an incredibly weak piece.
I have a tough decision to make. I got an email from Gamestop with a coupon for $100 off a 160GB PS3. It expires Sunday. Making it cost me $199 + tax. The next week or two is going to cost me a lot from moving out, bills, groceries, rent, etc. I'm sure I'll want a PS3 eventually for things like FFXIII Versus. I don't care if it's shitty, I want to play it on my own time. But I digress. This is what credit cards are for, right? RIGHT!? ._.
How much would cost later? If you can decide that it'd be worth it to make up for the cost of it now by enduring on low money for a while, then I'd totally do it. Though if you think an emergency may arise soon, or if you anticipate doing anything dangerous I would wait.

Well if I waited until "later", I probably wouldn't get one until a game actually came out that I wanted. I could at least use it as a blu-ray player until then, and $200 for a blu ray is pretty cheap. I SOULD be fine, I just don't like being under a certain amount in my bank account for very long. It makes me uneasy D:

If you go that route
I would also highly recommend the already released Disgaea 3, and the eventual release of Disgaea 4. The series is a SRPG that has the same addictive drug (or similar) as FFXI.
I'm hoping versus comes out for 360, as i play FFXI solely on my 360 and I heart achievement points.
My PS3 was bought for 2 reasons:
1) Disgaea series
2) If Konami gets its act together and makes Suikoden VI. (So far they have not made any games in the series for xbox)
The bonus was Metal Gear Solid 4 which is a wonderful game. Though my Kinect and i are looking forward to MGS Rising.
Edit: I have a fear of being bored. This is why i own many systems. I currently own:
Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, Turbo Duo, Panasonic 3D0, and a Neo-Geo.
I currently own: NES, SNES, PS1, PS2, Xbox360, GBA, DS lite, PSP, Wii, Colecovision, and soon to be PS3 apparently.
Very nice. My first system was a colecovision. (and a commodore 64)
I have emulators on my regular xbox for nes, snes, genesis, gba, and arcade.
I used to own a nes and snes as well. My NES stopped working (blowing into it and the games wouldnt even work anymore... and my SNES for some resaon went Black and White. It was very amusing and frustrating playing FFVI in black and white.
We broke out the dreamcast and played some Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (which to me is superior to Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 in just about every way) a few weeks back, and played Guardian Heroes for the saturn also.
Once i got a car the whole portable system thing lost its luster.

credit card....check the fine print and see what the interest rate it. Most are 21% and above on unpaid balance so unless you plan to pay it off immediately your $199 console plus interest after the first month is about $241. Uless you are making more than minimum payments interest may eventually add up to more than what the original cost was.
random thoughts? I'm thinking why the h*** did the "manga = childporn" thread get deleted in the middle of me reading it? D:
Hmmm...1) someone got verally nasty to another person.....2) admin got too many complaints ..3)It became something that might have gotten advertisers angry...4) All of the above.
i had to clean up tree limbs and debris from the lawn today. *opens beer* want one =D?
I will take that beer tyvm :X
@ Zanno- I figured it would get zapped b4 I got home..lol..I see I was correct :3
/cheer
Did it pick back up again after we went completely ridiculous with it? At some point we all wanted it to die, and then it was a pick on Scrumpy fest. I passed out.
When I get to work I go through the posts and select about a dozen that I have posted on or I'm interested in. I had already selected the thread before it was nuked and got to read the last page.
basically it got raunchy( must have been worse before that last page)...Krizz "Back on topic".... a few post's later....Krizz "let the thread die" 2 more posts I tried to refresh and it was gone..
I do not compute which thread you're referring to :o
Quote function laughed at me and refused to cooperate. The comment was to zann..about the thread on why some forms of manga are seen as child porn...either way...the thread is gone
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
