Ha! Yeah my sister stays near Amish country in PA. Its a kick seeing the horse and buggy on the main roads. I'm born and raised in Cali, the East Coast is always a culture shock but thats a good thing, really.
I live in PA and Amish Country is still a culture shock. Though i live near Philly, which probably explains why. The same thing explains why i enjoy making and hearing Jersey jokes.

I think the first concert i ever saw was Technotronic opening for Madonna on the Blonde Ambition tour. I think the second concert i ever saw was New Kids on the Block.

I was young when i went to the Madonna and NKOTB concerts, and at the time i suppose i liked the music for both... as both were popular and i was into whatever was "in" at the time... mostly because i was young.
The more recent concerts i've been to have been of the Industrial/EBM genre which i wouldnt really call "in" here in the US at the moment. I could care less if it was "in" or "out" as now my determining factor as to whether i like or dislike a band is "do i like this?"
