I just can't seem to win LB5 on THF.
For whatever odd reason my DEs just do horribad damage and I inevitably get pounded into the ground by maat.
Gonna just dry run steal attempt from here on out.

Yes I have capped dagger.
Yes I used sleep pots and opo-opo necklace.
Yes I used an Icarus Wing
Yes, I had a vile elixir and several potions for PD.
Yes, my gear is okay.

at the testimony mob to steal from just stands in yhoater jungle, very handy to steal hide spam and no other job has that easy a time farming tests

It did only like 375 which is really bad. Should be doing 400+ easily, but my solo DEs were like in the mid 200s. Should be doing 300+ solos too but I just can't seem to get him down on time, my damage is too awful. Managed to get him to bout 30% but I was already toast by then.
Getting hit for 150-200 a hit doesn't help.

Also trying for my test on Bandit gobs. 0/23509235832095825 on steal.
Thank god for Repose.

I'd need Ohat and deadeye gloves to have hope of landing a hit since my marksmanship isn't quite capped yet. But i've already thrown away enough gil on meds and whatnot. I rather just do dry runs for the steal at this point.

10 minute fight. Can't "retry" for steal. Would kick you out before it's up again.

You steal once, sleep him for 5 minutes and steal again. I don't see how it takes you 5 minutes to walk up to him.
