Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Should I run to the store to buy tomatoes so I can make chili or should I make past and meatballs tomorrow?
Make chili without fresh tomatoes >:
Ehhhh.
EHHHHHHH. Maybe. Actually, I wanna run this recipe by you:
My personal preference is moar and more veggies (onions, peppers, corn etc)
Pinto beans over everything and stewed tomatoes. I like vegetables with everything, and lots of them, but I'm also cooking for my brother (a very picky eater). If my parents didn't task me with cutting down his eating out budget I would definitely add more veggies. That's a good idea.
Maybe I'll delay this till Monday's food shop. Vegetables? In chili? Might as well toss some noodles in there while you're at it.
Terlingua Chili Competition 1989 Winner "Yahoo Chili" Step One 2-1/2 lbs - beef chuck/mock tender or round steak cut in 1/4" cubes 1 tsp - shortening 1 can - (8 oz) No Salt Added Tomato Sauce 1 can - (14-1/2 oz) beef broth 2 tbsp - Texas Style Chili Powder 1 tbsp - Onion Powder 1/2 tsp - Ground Red Pepper 2 tsp - Beef Flavored Base or Instant Bouillon 1 tsp - Chicken Flavored Base or Instant Bouillon 1/2 tsp - Salt 1 tbsp - Chili Powder In a 5 quart Dutch oven, brown beefin shortening (do not drain). Step Three 1/2 tsp - Salt 1/8 tsp - Ground Red Pepper 1 tbsp - Chili Powder 1 tsp - Ground Cumin 1/2 tsp - Onion Powder Combine spices and add to chili. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Makes 6 servings. Anyway, the radio cut out on my way home before it broke down a mile from my house. It's the battery, right? Bismarck.Magnuss said: » Now that's a chili. I'm enjoying The Offspring tonight.

You'll also get those pesky cops hanging around asking you to do all kinds of sobriety tests.

Anyway, the radio cut out on my way home before it broke down a mile from my house. It's the battery, right? Did it break down after you turned off the car or was it in motion? If it did it after you turned the car off it could be the alternator, the battery, or the connectors between each of them(the battery connectors specifically I'm not so sure with the alternator) The alternator gets a spark from the motor and in turn powers the car so technically you can drive on a dead battery if you can get spark to the alternator properly I'm pretty sure, that is unless the alternator is going out of course. I had a friend that ran with a dead battery for a few weeks and just jumped his car before he'd drive lol. Your friends alternator would be gone not the battery.

Here's a few pics I took at the show.
Unfortunately I was in the last row, so the doormen were camera nazis, so the best I could do was check out the promotional banners and posters. ![]()
