Asura.Bartimaeus said: » Btw new management at work sucks, always. Not that they're always terrible people, but there's always some odd power grab in the form of "let's start doing things this way" just to appease higher ups that they're indeed doing "manager stuff". /sort-of-corporate-america rant Work for self; profit! Cerberus.Savannah said: » lol She's not taken anymore >.> She was when I was there though. But yea...the one dude's excuse was "we need to spend more time getting +2's and stuff for those who don't have a lot, and you already have a lot of stuff" <.< Those ppl were his family who never, or hardly ever, logged in and I did most of my upgrades on my own time anyway. I kind of...went off. Then he followed it by telling me nobody cares what I think and I'm a *** blah blah blah ect. ect. lol :D I mostly just do stuff with my social (if you can call it that idk if theres a proper term for the social shell that does stuff together) shell where its typicly the people who don't need something that make the suggestion to do something that someone else needs. That or just kinda pile in when we see someone else off doing something... were weird that way. Pritty much as long as we recognize them as someone who participates were onboard for whatever XD Asura.Bartimaeus said: » Cerberus.Savannah said: » Anyway....That kind of sucks Bart :( Sounds like they need to grow a pair.... It's like a 40 yr old dude who I'm fairly sure is homosexual. I'm not homophobic in the least, but y'know.. And during a conversation via phone I had to stifle any laughter as he said the words "I'm pretty hands on". Guess I know one way to get a raise.. lmfao Ina
Yea normal LS drama...jealousy...it was like a TV show :) To class I gooooooooooooooooooooo! Wish me luck on my Psych test. :DDD
Is it possible to love someone of the opposite sex without wanting to get in a relationship with them?
I'm saying yes, but a few of my friends are saying no. Edit: Also, to grind out an emp, just get 3-4 people who want to do it and get 10 people to hold KI. Those 10 will get free exp, cruor, etc from the cleaving and mobs and get a shot at that +2 for standing around with their ***'s in their hands. That's how I do it. I offered that. :( And I think it could be possible...it's like when you fall out of love with someone, you still love them, just not in that way. FRENS ONRY I tried to do a lot of it on my own farming wise during the week so I didn't have as much to do on the weekends when most people logged in.
*shrugs* It is what it is, and now I can continue to do that, but with my own personal whm :) Fenrir.Uzugami said: » Asura.Bartimaeus said: » I personally don't like feeling enslaved to empy work, no matter the +2 items. I'm saying yes, but a few of my friends are saying no. And I think it could be possible...it's like when you fall out of love with someone, you still love them, just not in that way. I mean, you should know about the long history between Wendy and I from Ni. I feel like, I never want to lose her in my life. When we weren't talking for a few weeks due to a rut, there was this giant nothingness, a dull throbbing pain, in my life that I kept thinking "I want to share this with her, want to see her, I don't care if she hurt me. It was an accident, and life without her is wrong." I don't think I want to have a relationship with her, but I cannot imagine a life without her. She's a part of me, and I have never felt so intensely about anyone in my life until I met her. They say I'm suppressing my manly desires, but I think I just truly love her. Plain and simple; she's my best friend, she's my other half. Maybe there's more types of love between young men and women then we care to admit. I'm not sure who you're talking about...
That's beside the point, the point I was trying to make is that it can be possible. You can love them like a best friend, you can love them like family, but not love them in the romantic lets-make-babies way. Like in my old LS, as much drama as there was, I loved the leader like a brother. He was my big bro and best friend, and now we don't talk anymore...it sucks...it bugs me yes...but there's nothing I can do to change it so I just have to accept it and move on. I'll always have that sisterly love towards him whether he's in my life anymore or not. Cerberus.Savannah said: » I'm not sure who you're talking about... I am not so strong a man; sometimes, I need my emotions to feel validated to ease me into my own views.
What are you talking about Uzu? >.> lol
