feeling pretty positive that I failed one of my nursing tests today..I have another one on wednesday but I'm more inspired to draw than I am to study.

I think I'm allergic to my sister's shampoo. Someone used the last of mine(jerks!), so I used hers. Started sneezing as soon as I started massaging it in. -_- Lmao Yea...outside of hot dogs, chicken nuggets...the normal kid food, I don't really know what Max will eat and what he'd be willing to try...So that is why this week he's coming shopping with me!

I was never forced to try anything. But my parents would use the "try it, please? ...for me?" I was a sucker for that part. I liked to make my parents happy, lol. It helped that my dad was a really awesome cook, so I usually ended up liking whatever it was. :3

Sent my test off to the person who needs it, now just need to wait to see if they'll pay for stuffs I need. O_O House today, yaaaaaaaay! /joy

It's whatever really...I'm a firm believer in when he's ready to try it, he will. I didn't really go outside of my comfort zone foodwise until I started going to family events on his dad's side. I still don't like trying new things, but I'm willing to give it a shot (unless it's Krizz's meatball subs from subway...I'm still a little debatable on that one...) I always grew up with the teachings of either "eat it or go hungry", I wasn't forced to eat something new but had the choice of either eating it or not. I can understand some people not liking certain things (I still hate some things) but you need to learn to try new things or you won't really know what you like. You just implied that I was stupid. Thaaanks. XD Just always had a lot of respect for my parents. It's how I was raised. If they asked me to do something, I did it. This gave me a lot of freedom when I was a teenager. :3
Everyone is different though! I'm sure he'll ease into it eventually. Especially since he's probably like you, he just has to find his comfort zone. My friends' kid prefers veggies over sweets. We all went to a birthday party once, for another friend with 3 kids(O_O). She refused to eat the cake, only ate the carrots and sweet tomatoes from one of those party tray things. It was ... interesting! He also did the "finish everything off your plate before you can leave the table" thing. This was horrible during holidays! Again, parents/aunts/uncles came to the rescue! They'd come around and be like "Oooh you want more? /wink" take our plate and toss stuff off of it, bring it back and be like "OOOH good, you finished, you can leave now." XD Always fun times.
