I'm wondering why people go out of their way to look like idiots, or to act as though they are one. Example: Some guy whines about an Alliance member grabbing a key item from a Sturdy Pyxis in La'Thiene Plateau, this key item is very common. I ask the guy to back off. We start rolling on key items. I beat the guy who whined earlier in a roll, and he grabbed what we were rolling on anyways. No big deal for me, but I'm bored and I tease the guy about it.
He then starts threatening me in /tell. He starts THREATENING to have me kicked from the group I've been in for eight hours. I tell him to back off. He doesn't relent. I post his /tell's in party chat because they amuse me so, he then has me kicked from the group.
I'm awe struck at the stupidity of the entire situation, including my part in it, but why? Why is people so stupid?
Because some people can't be happy unless they have something to be upset about. Pure and simple. I've seen it over and over, both in real life and in game. It's really hard for some people to be perfectly happy, because it feels like something is missing. So they cause drama to make up for it. (Someone I know in real life will drag up things that happened when I was a three or four years old, not joking, just so she can fight with someone over them. If she can't find something to be mad about, she'll make something up to be mad about.) The cute thing is that most of the people I know who do that then turn around and claim that they hate drama. xD
Just move on with your life and don't fret about it. It's really not worth it.
