Okay, does anyone wanna paraphrase to me what the whole mob proc thing is all about and how it works since I'll be getting into a completely different Dynamis than the ones in 2006 I'm used to?

WAR, PLD, DRK, SAM, and DRG - Weapon Skill procs
WHM, BLM, RDM, BRD, and SMN - Magic procs
MNK, THF, BST, RNG, and NIN - Job Ability procs
What this means is whichever one you are fighting, use the corresponding proc type on them. It can be any WS, JA, or Magic to proc, so most people just spam low lvl stuff to get it.
(PS, JA procs are really easy with a dnc as they have all those steps and flourishes and stuff, this is the easiest way to proc for most people it seems. It's what I do.)

Don't worry, I promise not to suck(I'm only Lv.9!), but don't judge a book by its cover. I haven't did actual PvP yet, but I'm fairly certain I know the ups and downs of tactical warfare when it comes to that game XD..
Haha. :p I don't really mind either way. Have you tried Co-op vs AI games at least? That gives you a better feel than just custom, because the AI actually ganks and what not. I can always hop on a smurf account to play with you too. =)
