I haven't bought beef in months, prices are outrageous. I can sub in ground turkey for my Mexican dishes, but otherwise it's just chicken.

Ground turkey tastes like sadness

No but it doesn't taste like beef. For that mater it doesn't taste like turkey either. I can make tofu taste more like meat than ground turkey ever will.

what i miss is bacon, been several years now

Turkey bacon isn't bad. It's acceptable. Nothing compares to real bacon, of course.

The problem with turkey bacon is you can't crispify it. Also unacceptable.

You can make anything crispy by cooking it longer (dehydrating it)

Everything Everywhere All at Once

Bonkers good, and won an Oscar for best screenplay.

Highly recommend.

Funny story about that movie.

My husband and I rented it for a weekend with a few other movies. We had not seen it yet and decided to start watching it first. Movie is great things are interesting and we are hit the climax of the movie and... My water breaks (it was the night of day I was due soooo), I am in labor for 23 hrs and 2 days chill at the hospital with my new kiddo, we had the movies returned by a family member. It took us 3 month to finally see the end of the movie. Long time to be sitting at the climax of a movie not knowing how it finishes.

Bonus fact my husband wanted to watch it first cuz JOKINGLY he said the last movie would be the one my water broken in and we would never see the end, he did not believe me at first when I said it broke at the climax of the movie.

bonkers especially since the movie opens so slow, great movie don't get me wrong, but damn. I busted out laughing at the boulder scene.

Crimes of the Future is incredibly bonkers.

David Cronenberg, Vigo Mortensen starring.

Just.. mental, absolutely insane. Sci-fi touching on ethics, art, human evolution.

At least the restaurants in South Padre are still really good. Blackbeards has been in business for my entire life and its obvious why. I asked if they cooked caught fish and they said only up to 1 pound per person, which is ridiculous. I have a kitchenette here but I'm not great at cooking wahoo. I guess I will just have to see what I can bring back tomorrow.
