Winter and work at office is not working for me.

I came here perfectly healthy but Im leaving sneezing like crazy.

This years winter was particularly colder than past years imo

I really have a hard time picturing anywhere in Brazil that gets cold in winter.

I know its a big country with parts at high altitudes and other parts significantly south of your famed beaches but I am still reminded of the old Texas proverb: "If god had meant Texans to ski he would have made *** white." only with palm fronds instead of ***.

After all Argentina has more bulls than Brazil.

I mean, it's South America, "cold" is probably like 15 C lol

I think the worst winter that I've ever experienced was something like -22 Celsius, but it also came with storm so wind chill factor made it even lower.

And I had to walk in that weather condition for like an hour. It was abysmal, I was honestly surprised that I survived that....

Where I live it is about that or slightly lower for a "coldest" day of the year.

But there are AC, and maybe carpet that worked against my health. RIght now, I feel a lot better, maybe allergy or sinisitis IDK.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 25 was so atrociously bad.

It was a chapter that seemed like the story would be soon be axed, how much garbage was pulled.

Probably the worst storytelling I ever seem in my life, from chapter 24, that was interesting, to chapter 25, where everything blow off without reason, without care.

So bad Im genuinely offended by reading this

Funny how younger people, that started in anime/manga with Naruto/Bleach or even later, look down on stories like Dragon Ball, saying it was “too easy, too generic”.

Sure, you can sum up most arcs with simply get beaten, power up, win. There is nothing complex in the power system: its simply escalar ki: the more the better. There is barely any gimmicks in the story as a whole.

BUT… you cant compare how Toryiama masterfully manage storytelling with current mangakas. Dragon Ball never spend too much time with exposition talks. Never spend too much to make complex something that would be dead few chapters later.

The Dragon Ball story, despite the power crip that was a problem in the Z part, always feel comprehensible and believable. The story was never idle.

My final point is that you dont need to reinvent the whell to make a good story. You can simply grab a lot of cliches. If you can properly write a good storytelling, a good flow to it, it will be interesting.

Silksong is confirmed to release this year. And r/Silksong on reddit went crazy.

There are other things from GC25 but those stood out the most.

Honestly, I personally don't see the appeal of playing as a middle aged fat dude with beard in a character action game. But I also didn't see the appeal of playing as a monkey from the first game and yet the first game sold 20m for whatever reason.

So I guess I am just not the target audience of their themes.

(Inb4 the actual main character is someone else not zhong kui)

Oh and I forgot to mention, the studio that made Disco Elysium also announced a new game in GC25. However, since some of the old core members left the team, whether this new game can come close to the greatness of DE or not is a big question.

I hope they succeed though. I desperately need another Disco Elysium-like in life!

Kinda funny that anti-woke people ***on modern video games for having ugly main characters because "escapism", then Game Science picked an actual ugly mythical character from Taoism for their next AAA game, lol. It's basically saying "*** you" to people claiming video game character has to look good to sell.

(Inb4 Zhong Kui is actually a story theme but not the player character, then Game Science picked an attractive flower boy as the main player character because money. We'll see.)

You should have made that clear from the beginning lol. Because what triggered you is politics, not character design. Hiding "I don't like their political stance" opinion behind character design decision critism doesn't give you any advantage.

Btw, the developers of Stellar Blade also intentionally changed the face of their character and made it very different from their models. And IMO, I think it also looks worse than their model counterparts because I don't like anime style big eyes and small nose on a realistic body.

By your logic, Stellar Blade is also bad because they intentionally changed the 3D model's face too. But you wouldn't agree, because your critism is based on whether it's woke or not, not because changing face model or having ugly characters in a video game is bad.
