My work now demands me to know Springbot.

I was looking for some courses on Udemy and Youtube, and I noticed Java and Springbot tutorials had more women presenting than guys.

I just thought this curious having some imbalance toward a specific category.

I remember back in my engineering classes we also were heavily masculine population. But even in an imbalanced population, toward specializations that imbalance became worse.

My mechanical engineering had a single digit in terms of women while civil and production engineering had more balanced proportions.

Feels like in this world every niche is trying to live inside their bubble, living their own illusions of needs, demands, standards, trying to impose their ways to the other bubble while being impenetrable to any outside position.

Leading to the gap mentioned in the video: its fake you will go from graduation to success without real life struggles, while also you wont get your business going expecting everyone you hire will be harvard master degreee quality for burger flipping salary.

Sucks it seems it will need the bubble to burst and every niche crumble before they realize they are simply wrong in the end.

Personally i like my job (its interesting and dont have high pressures), i earn decently for a new emplyee status i have currently.

It only pains me that compared to the world, I earn 5~6 times lower only because some shitty logic defines my coin is worth less than 1/6 of other richer countries coins.

I honestly had a desire to move to europe seeking master degree the next few years, potentially moving on for good to there, but atm while i still want to achieve higher educational degree, i really feel that working here has less nonsense than in other places.

Maybe because i work for a kinda-ish government company. That kinda creates a bubble from the wild market.

Funny though in my company we outsouce a dev team, and complains are frequent about them not delivering what they expect.

While i can see problem in the capacity from both sides (the company employees being simply bad at leading/managing a project and outsource employees being bad at engaging their current work) it makes me wonder: is this the level of work the employees are demanding to be paid more (from the perspective of outsouce)? And its for that much you want delivered with such random quality workers, potentially paying little (from the perspective of company)?

Yeah, my dream is to have enough to simply cover my yearly expenses for my life, and live freelancing only shits that are inline with my hobbies

Ive found a good series of videos on YT teaching exactly the way I want to learn Spring Boot.

Only two problems though. Its an ongoing series so important topics werent covered yet.

The second one is that the guy turned a couple of the videos as members only.

It was one of the most pinpoint teaching of a technology Ive seen in a while, Im really considering doing membership just to get those videos, but I dont know how membership works.

Is it a one time fee to join? Or is it a subscription type service where I will be monthly charged? Can I leave it when Im done?

These answers are different for different services.

Contact the guy in charge, ask him.

Here in the USA it is not uncommon for people to buy something, realize its a monthly subscription and find there is no way to cancel the subscription so they cancel their card.

Edit: Such things should be covered under terms and conditions. Most anywhere "I didn't read the fine print" is a legitimate gotcha. Also beware of pre checked boxes.

Use PayPal if you can, can cancel subscriptions as well as do paybacks.

There IS a reason why Trump keeps playing tariff card to balance the unfairness. Why hire American workers when you can hire someone else doing the same thing with 1/5 of price. It is low GDP region workers that are making money and taking American jobs.



I don't think "richer country" are necessarily more rich in terms of actual purchasing power and quality of life though. Because they are also paying more living cost and tax.

For example, UK's GDP per capita is at $52423, but PPP(purchasing power parity) per capita is only $62574.

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia's GDP per capita is $28364, but PPP per capita is $70333.

South Korea GDP per capita: $36132, PPP: $62960.

tl;Dr: both Saudi Arabia and South Korea are richer than the UK with higher purchasing power despite their coins worth way less. The value of money in a region doesn't necessarily make them poor. It depends on the cost of living and tax, and how much they can buy with their money.

If you want to increase income, the best way is to remotely work for NA/Europe clients or employer AND live in a low GDP region. Physically locate to high GDP region isn't always the best idea imo.

Finally got fed up with my sinus infection, and pretty sure it's bacterial so I went to the clinic.

She didn't respond and spent the rest of the evening locked in the computer room with her cats watching Beverly Hillbillies and Tiktok.

I know she's mad cause when I kissed her goodnight she made the kiss as light and brief as possible, which is essentially her tell. Somehow I think she's the only woman who can get an unprompted foot and back massage with no expectation of sexy times, and then be mad about it.

Why is nothing in life ever easy?

Life is supposed to be the challenge and the afterlife the reward for said challenge.

If you believe in that. Otherwise, life is so challenging because humans make everything difficult out of stupidity and that's all it really is. We can't work together and solve problems because that'd mean there's no profiting off said problems. And miserable is the default condition, you have to actively make it better and that like, takes effort.

Life is an early alpha build of the game and it accidently made it into production, the difficulty slider was bugged no matter where you put it the result is random.

In addition to that there is no auto-difficulty scaling when you keep getting stomped on in the end game, that menu toggle also does not work so you can't enable it.


They keep saying they will patch it but some people have manage to exploit the system as it is and rely on these bugs to allow for their degenerate game play style.
