Having now completed the post fight story quests I can say this is NOT the Prishe I remember.
Yep, she's more of a memberberry, and they aren't staying really all that faithful to her character with the ole, "Well this is just an Electrope Fever Dream copy made by the sorcerer behind it all!"
That said, I did appreciate all of the easter eggs. A bit butthurt they didn't mention that Tavnazian Tacos are made with fish rather than beef-analogue.
Of course, they can't really give us an accurate portrayal of Prishe from XI, because a lot of context surrounding her is completely missing. And also XIV is in its, "Everything is sanitized and works out A-OK with smiles and rainbows and gay panther women!" phase, so we can't really get her severe/mournful side at all.
Raid itself was mega fun. I've run it like five times now. Very first run felt like SE was watching me/we live in a simulation, because I was in Alliance B and got tethered to Ark Angel Galka, and on my very first Divine Might clear, I wound up being the guy who tanked/finished off Ark Angel Galka before the Wipe Reraise, netting us a 3rd dead Ark Angel that wasn't planned to be dead by that point :)
Also a tad butthurt that Despot was in a way wrong place. Glad for the reference, but irritated that it wasn't accurate. Plus they had us miss out on the main walk of Sky with the central doll corridor. I mean, I guess we got an accurate placement of Laloff Amphitheater but man... no hexagonal walking paths on transparent floor... incorrect Despot placement... /nerdrage
Really love the Fafnir fight, the Ark Angels fight, and Shadowlord fight. Gay Prishe fight was not badly designed and is quite fun, but she looks so stupid.
Shadowlord VA I wish was a deeper voice, but he went all in on the emotion, so it's still quite good. I have a really hard time reading the x3 270 degree swipes. I seem to dodge the first two OK, but I almost always go to the non-safe side for 3rd swipe.
Loved the easter eggs and seeing newbies/Xivvies try to clout chase my nostalgia. This one post I saw on Twitter was dissecting the Mithra THF's outfit in Jeuno, and they called the Strider's Shoes the Bounding Boots. Fake fan spotted!
