Cube is another great story, terrible movie, series.
That 2021 Cube remake was really bad though.

The ending was strange like usual, but was enjoyable. Not that good but similar to the first.

I watched this with a group, and the ending seriously spawned about 2 hours of collective "what the ***" theorizing.

It's a very message driven movie. Extremely low budget, mystery/thriller.
Objectively bad "movie" unless youre into that kind of thing. Every scene looks identical, bad lighting, no stars, all plot. (all takes place in a grey industrial prison complex)

Well, it is a prequel, if that has any weight on your decision.

A prequel does make it a bit more interseting. Maybe one night if I decide I don't want to be happy I'll watch it lol.

The last year has been all death and apocalypses lol I think the only funny movie I've seen the entire last 12 months was kungfu panda 4 and it's whole premise is based on death.
.... and before that have to go all the way back to barbie. Where's all the light hearted fun.

For me, I find it's most movies are just forgettable. Seems like everything that comes out is a remake or a sequel nobody asked for.
Even Deadpool 3 felt like more of a fan service of short films put together in a movie format. I'm not saying it was bad, it felt very comic book like, but it was pretty damn forgettable.
I've atleast really been enjoying FF16 now that it's out on PC. It barely feels like a game, but it's a great movie.

Can't remember the last movie I was really excited for as fun either. Maybe dune 2 in imax before it got delayed a year and I ended up not having the time to see it lol
