@Pantafernando
Does your arm/shoulder still hurt from the vaxx? If that's too personal of a question no worries. Just curious It took a really long time for it to heal (months) but it was gradually vanishing so im not sure how long exactly it took.

A friend of mine had something similar. You doing okay now though? Good to hear it's faded. Thanks man, really apppreciate.
Its so frustrating when the game give you choices that there is no way you can understand the consequences beforehand.
Im 5h in the game, while enjoying it quite a lot, ive been also constantly bothered because Im losing the optional characters for good. 5h and Im still with a party of 2. Maybe Im doing the worst route ever. Pantafernando said: » Its so frustrating when the game give you choices that there is no way you can understand the consequences beforehand. Have to go to the doctor today... in New York.

lol. I'm flying back to NY in 6 hours from Bangkok.
Going to try to retire in Thailand. Nyc sucks. I have really bad luck with phones. It doesn't matter how well I take care of them - never exposing them to extreme temperatures or water, rarely if ever dropping them, etc. - they always have some sort of physical issue with them.
I've already taken this phone in a whopping three times. And this time it just suddenly went black without warning and won't turn back on. It was at roughly 95% battery when it happened, too. Was just going to bed. My partner and I bought the exact same phone at the exact same time. And even though that phone gets dropped twice a day, it's never had a single issue. My dad's been using the same iPhone for about 15 years, for work even, and he's never had to take it in once. Everyone else I know just randomly upgrades their phone whenever they feel they can. Is it just bad luck? Or are these phones supposed to undergo regular physical shock to stay spry? Did you buy iPhone or iFhone?
Pantafernando said: » Did you buy iPhone or iFhone? 5 years seems about right for a hardware to starts degradating.
Here at home, when my devices starts to fail, its time for a complete wipe and giving them to my relatives. I had a 10 years old notebook, right now its my mom's main one, that she uses daily. Well, sounds kinda rude giving stuffs we personally dont want to use anymore, but recently I bought a brand new one for her, that she uses at work. Plus she had a Macbook Air for a long time barely using it. While my old notebook is kinda part of her daily life right now. I think whats happening is that, every new update, SO developers increase the bar of "minimum requirement" instead of adopting a conservative average.
So, they add new stuffs for their SO to always keep a good chunk of processing/capacity in use. So, if you dont update your hardware, soon you gonna see most of your hardware being consumed only to keep things running smoothly. Add your common software then we can understand why computers start performing worse steadly overtime. Yooo, what the ***... The PC version of GBO2 is splitting away from the PS4/5 version starting this week, and introducing the first MS from outside the Universal Century setting; SEED's Freedom Gundam.
YouTube Video Placeholder This means we've lost our foresight and can't save up for things 2 months in advance. I'll need to keep a stash just in case they start adding Wing suits like Tallgeese and Leo. (y'A')y EDIT: According to the dev video, this is a direct response to the survey they put out a while back. Most PS players want the game to remain as-is, while most PC players wanted non-UC MS to be added and for the update schedule to change. So now PS is getting MS from UC Engage (mobile game), while PC is getting some non-UC series MS as a test-run. Bahamut.Celebrindal

I just tried installing Chrome because supposedly you can get the Google Authenticator (which is how I log into XI) as an extension. But Chrome required I use 2FA to log into that. The only options were a voice call or SMS to my phone number, and emailing me a verification code wasn't even a choice.
I'm so tired of this. Can't do anything without signing into an account anymore. Can't fix issues with 2FA without using said 2FA first. I can't even pay for parking downtown without signing into a f***ing phone app that requires me to change my password once a month. And of course as luck would have it, the place I'd take my phone to is closed on Mondays, and the only other option is a nearby phone store who you know for a fact is just going to say "There's nothing we can do, why not pay $2000 and buy a new phone now!!" And I can't really go anywhere else because even Mother Nature is against me today, dumping a horrific blizzard on us as I type this out (that won't let up until late tonight). Thats the industry standard nowadays: MFA for everything and periodic password rotation.
Still monthly change is quite aggressive. My company requires one change every 120 days. Maybe use the authenticator as an app? My Microsft Authenticator ask me to input my PIM, but thats about it Update: Thinking that there's probably no way to fix the phone anyway, I might as well just go to the damn store and look into buying a new phone. But of course, they can't transfer the data from my current phone over to a new one. So the salesperson I was talking to called their "tech guy" and left a message, hoping there might be some solution. They said that the technician usually returns calls within about five minutes.
Fifteen minutes pass. Of course, the store is sterile with nothing to look at, because why bother having displays or anything interesting to look at when everyone's just looking at their phones nowadays anyway. But my phone is dead, so I just sat there waiting. The salesperson finally says "I'll try our tech again -- oh wait, they're closed on Mondays! Derp!" and then I found out that the person they called was the exact person I usually go to across the street, but knew not to go there because they're closed on Mondays! I probably wouldn't be in such a foul mood, but my phone being dead ended up being a whole event at like 2am. I woke up and realized my phone was dead, so I tried a bunch of things to revive it. Then because it usually acts as both my clock and my alarm, I had to figure out an alternative so I didn't oversleep before work in the morning. After dealing with all of that, I was all worked-up and took forever to fall back asleep. So now I'm running on no sleep, my phone is dead, I wasted time at the phone store, and my work software is being even stupider than usual. *headdesk* *headdesk* *headdesk* Ragnarok.Jessikah said: » The salesperson finally says "I'll try our tech again -- oh wait, they're closed on Mondays! Even comments seems to follow some sort of trend.
One of the trends Ive been seeing lately is the "social media is an error". That means, people make hate posts against social media complaining that the problem of so much hate against everything are the social medias themselves. Then I read a news right now about hate post and even hate mails sent to Palworld devs, and here they are: "Social media is an error". Personally I think the problem isnt words but the hostility and malice that human being have. Social media is there as a means. Even if they dont exist, people will still vent their hostility and malice in other means. Ok, next I saw another news about an actor that posted in his social media a photo of him in trunks. Then the comments were: "Oh, look at the size of his junk!". "hey, thats a big bag!" Yeah, social media is an error. Pantafernando said: » Even comments seems to follow some sort of trend. Yeah, social media is an error. ― Umberto Eco My mood significantly improved last night when I got a phone up and running and was able to temporarily swap in my SIM card. Towards the end of the night, I was able to log into XI. And just as I did so, caught my linkshell going for a Vagary clear.
See, up until just a few days ago, I was under the impression that I needed to complete SoA to enter Vagary. Doing so is high on my to-do list, but I just thought I was locked out of getting my Hashishin +1 and the few boss spells until I was all the way done. So I joined. Got my clears for AF3 upgrades, got some great loot, and even two of the three spells I was missing from it! But you still gonna need the SoA clearing for Sortie to get the empy +2 so keep going

But then, you realize that a site that only allowed people near nobel prize winners in intellect/achievement would just be exclusive and not reflect society at all, anyway, and therefore would serve little purpose. Social Media may be imperfect and full of idiots, but so is our world. Idiots out in the world do harm every day. From chronic speeders on the road, to drug addicts and dealers, to lifelong, career politicians... Harm. Every. Day. We did Dyna-D Jeuno on Sunday and even though we had a ton of newcomers we made it to W3 and even killed a couple Voltes before the timer ran out. Once I'm done Wings, I plan on weaving Maiden Of The Dusk II between Seekers of Adoulin missions. Hopefully by the time I get Sortie access, I'll have some Malignance gear. Bismarck.Josiahflaming

yay I survived the 4 week winter classes (was the first time my college offered them too, so it was nice seeing the professors equally flabbergasted lol)
now enjoy a week off beeofre spring classes start, time to catch up on the kid's video game I just realized how much I appreciate the monthly adventuring campaigns we get in XI. There's so many activities to participate in post-99 that it's kind of overwhelming. The campaigns give players just a little bit of direction.
It doesn't grab your hand and force you to do one thing over another, but - especially for new players - incentivizes them to focus on just a handful of things and introduces them to chunks of endgame at a time. Though it does suck having one of the bonuses and suddenly not having it anymore. I know my friends were absolutely devastated learning that V2N Ambuscade typically only gives 200 Hallmarks instead of the 400-500 they were getting thanks to the Bozetto Golden Bombs last month. And other people I've known have skyrocketed to like Lv.50 in a day, only to have an EXP bonus campaign to disappear and suddenly leave the rest of their climb feeling like they're swimming in molasses. Is it normal to wear sunglasses at the gym?
