Im not sure if that image represent generic characters available to players to use or if those characters are unique types, to use in story, but relating to my previous comment, a good waifu is a sure way to get me interested in some story.
And that girl in white right above the others and in the center, feels like some sort of heroin in that particular story, and has very nice design that makes me wonder how her story will develop.
Well, the design could still be a generic one and she is not a story specific character so my rambling here would be a bunch of nonsense, but thats to say I really liked that one character in particular.
Nah, Krile is great, and has lore reasons for the cat ear hood.
(Those lore reasons were retroactively created so she could look like her FF5 counterpart, but lore reasons nonetheless)
That's fine, I wasn't trying to slight it. Just pointing out that she looks kinda out of place among the others from a purely visual perspective. I'm sure it's not even noticeable to anyone familiar with the characters.
Original thinking: hey, thats interesting how Squall seemed way more thoughtful in original version, and the translation made him sounds 10x jerkier than what he actually is.
Yup, figured that out a few days ago. Kept lagging horribly and couldn't figure out why, kept restarting chrome and nothing. Until I disabled that, thankfully I have premium and I forgot I even had it on.
Not long ago I saw a video about the biggest scams in gaming.
You only need to know how to make a good trailer video, and sell it as the next big AAA game.
So that many starving investors gonna drop you cash based only in some CG without any real play on it.
Generally this ends with the development team vanishing with the funded money, or simply doing a extremelly underwhelming game.
Personally I would like to invest in some game content in the near future once things settle down. Not fell like messing with those unreal engines-like, but maybe something in the level of RPG maker, and do something simple but fun, then try to sell on Steam or mobile apps.
Heard of many cases like the ones that you describe. Especially a few years ago there was almost no month without Kickstarter gaming scam.
However, I would never expect that someone can sell loot boxes without the item that should be in them. Haven't heard about this yet, wonder how many of the free MMO developers engage in things like that and actively changing RNG to milk players harder.
Korean games are pretty much designed to be legal scams. I'm not surprised at all that they took it to the next level, nor am I surprised that they didn't get hit for it for years nor got any actual penalty. As long as there's tons of people willing to pay out the *** to chase dragons, these things will happen. Just imagine how many of these things are happening right now that will never be investigated. Wouldn't be shocked if companies like Mihoyo engage in similar practices.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
