How far do you have to be to attend those raids? I'd resub for a month to show my support to XI, but only if I didn't have to buy DT or beat ARR or get to max level or some crap.

Basically the raids are endgame activities for that expansion. This is the 24man raid for Dawntrail, like Nier was for Shadowbringers, or Ivalice was for Stormblood. You will need max level as well as the most current minimum ilvl for the patch that each part of the raid releases in.

I would try first updating all drivers, uninstalling unnecessary apps, setting startup of process to manual (a lot of apps set their processes to start automatically unnecessarily, adding unnecessary load on computer), and if nothing works, a clean restore.
Freezing could be related to some apps/driver doing things they are not supposed to do, or that your memory is overloaded, because too many processes are running at same time.
If the clean restore dont fix it though, then the culprit is hardware failure, and then i would change it

it doesnt even turn on anymore, it kept rebooting and now it is cold and dead! I think something went wrong inside.
Then, the last ditch would be using one of those boot from USB thing.

Wait I blew into the charging port and it turns on after nothing at all before. Something weird going on, maybe I need to open it.
Edit: didn't see anything strange inside, a little dust. Cleaned it and still the same issue, keeps freezing on boot up screen and i reset multiple times and then finally make it in only to have it randomly freeze again. Just gonna take it in, maybe its a windows thing

We do have job boost items in the cash shop. They get you to 10 levels from the current cap. Not worth it IMHO as you skip the story too.
The narrative seems to be the selling point of the game, so spending almost $150 CAD to skip the whole thing seems counterintuitive. Especially when from what I've seen, the stuff beyond the story doesn't pique my interest either.
X|V just isn't for me. I just wasn't sure if maybe I could do stuff with my friends without first burning hundreds of hours or hundreds of dollars.
