I would always just tank them at max melee range, because the second you run away as it's readying a move, then run back to the party, no one gets hit by the toss aoe but you so it's minimal curing needed

It would be fun to know the real mechanic / rate for drop vs toss 50/50, die roll, x/256 Interrupting casts or JAs with Sleep, Petrify, or out distancing them is a gangster move. I don't care who's doing it. Always love seeing XI mobs get their ***ruined by clever players.

Standing just at the edge of melee range can let you either avoid the AoE of Bomb Toss hitting your whole party, or cause the Goblin to lose all TP on a whiffed Rush. Same with Lizards and Cockatrice, since you'll be turning about-face when you fight those every time you see the "readying a TP move" animation anyway. Just keep running backwards an extra step or two and you'll even avoid moves like Blockhead or Poison Pick. Of course, that doesn't work on all their moves, nor does it work super consistently on all moves in general. But even if you just get ready to turn when the enemy is inching towards the 25% mark (where they're almost guaranteed to use a TP move), you can oftentimes sucker mobs into wasting their entire TP gauge. I once had someone in the party tell me that the Japanese WHM sent him a /tell, asking him to tell the DRK to stop using "Darkness" or else they'd leave. I think his MP was fine, and we probably even had a BRD, but eh.. whatever.. But once I hit 60, I've already been friends with a PLD whom I leveled with in the 50s. On our 5th EXP chain, I would always have the other DD open a SC, then I'd Soul Eater + Guillotine for Induration, and the PLD's Cover would be ready. Ofc I wouldn't tell the WHM beforehand. My vengeance was sweet. Sorry, I'm just a silly DRK rambling about stuff from 20 years ago. Anyone ever feel like closing certain SCs lowered the weaponskill damage of certain WSes?
I could swear back in the day whenever I closed Distortion with Rampage, it'd always be lower damage than if I'd closed no SC or Scission instead. numberrrrrrrrrrrr threeeeeeeeeee I love when single player games dont bother being unbalanced toward players.
Ive been spending too much money on Terranigma, entered a dungeon with 2k coins. But then I found a profitable mob, that gives a little more money than usual, and after 1h of grinding, I went from 2000 to 99999, plus 6 extra lvl ups. Im feeling so overpowered now. Thats the coming back of Dog-uro. Bismarck.Josiahflaming

4/5 now. Just need Gloves. I dont feel like working more this year

Good ride. Had at least two episodes that made shallow dry, what should be not easy given its a 16 bits game so images from that era dont trasmit enough feelings. This made my mind to try to play the Mana games remades for Switch. I had already play Secret of Mana on PS4, now gonna try the Secret of Mana 3 remake. Bismarck.Josiahflaming

Do not open the spoiler if you are Italian!
(Here’s looking at you Sheelay. Forgive me, my friend.) Ok, got Trials and Legend of Mana with end of year discount.
Legend of Mana kinda surprised me it was available. It was such a good game to play in late PS1. I also kinda benched out Zelda Skyward Sword for now. Feels like I need some sort of RPG-ish feature to play a game, like some gear, stats and grind. Eh, Trials of Mana, and my first party consist of a male and 2 gorgeous girls.
Harem party. Pervy dog In this house we make fun mythics One funny cliche just happened in Trails of Mana:
While leaving the random character comes to hero and says he will receive the sword that was his father’s, like some sort of legacy, heritage. Then…. Hero receives shitty bronze sword! The sword that is replaced by the very first Iron Sword sold in any generic shop. No wonder the hero’s father failed in battle, i guess. The game so far is so incredible childish. Lame dialogues and motivations.
I dont recall the snes version being this colorful and light. Angelas character managed to give me the worst first impression a player character could give: dressed like a hoe, incredibly futile in all her dialogues, and her plot being related by how useless of a character she is. I took advantage of Boxing Week sales and bought a halfway decent sound system. Finally upgraded from the 20-year-old Logitech speakers!
