Yeah it's pretty easy to fix the slowdown. I'm still pretty happy with the Mobile version. It's just too bad that if you change phones you can't carry your save over...

Finally finished leveling every job to Lv.99. As of July 15th, 2022 I have all twenty-two jobs in FFXI to max experience level, though not Job Levels nor Master Levels.

Speaking extremely subjectively, here's a tier list of how much fun I had leveling each one. Because why not XD

At least monk is ranked correctly.

I outleveled my Magic Skills and couldn't land anything on monsters. What that left me with was a really, really pathetic Warrior with buffs for my party.

Bard definitely would have been more fun if I had leveled it back in like 2004.

Geomancer probably would have also been an S-tier if it existed during the Treasures of Aht Urhgan era.

It's a great job strategically speaking. But it has nothing to do against standard foes...

I’m a big fan of having endless haste from trusts and getting to DD as brd without waiting for rdms or a power lvl to slowly get 100x less exp when the Rdm d/ces or sexually harasses the jp mithra tank

Personally I love simple jobs like MNK.

My life is already complicated enough, so its a bliss when I have a job that do its job without relying in pushing a shitload of commands like SCH or RDM.

BTW, nothing bores me more than watching buffs wearing off then reapplying it. It kills my joy. I love the concept of that but micromanaging it is a turn down to me. I remember while playing FFXII the need of constantly being buffed to beat most strong foes. And buffs there used to wear off incredibly fast. But the gambit did the job of checking and reapplying it. But still, I remember while fighting Yazmat, I literally just hard 2 characters to keep buffs up, and only Vaan dealing dmg. It was impressive how keeping buffs up simply killed all participation the other 2 chars had in battle. Thats how i get lazy just to think in joining a fight that I know i will need to recast buffs.

It started poorly, got somewhat better in the middle, and then ended just badly. I felt like I was watching a teen CW drama show. The plot was driven by multiple 'idiot ball' decisions by the characters and got tiring quite quickly. There was far too much focus on family drama and not nearly enough on zombies.

Ah Christ they're hour long episodes. 8 Hours of this ***really.

... As far as the "idiot decisions" yeah, you have to just go with it, cause if they make good decisions the show cannot exist. yeah, it's always infuriating, but it just has to be that way. Also, I mean, have you looked around lately? People doing the dumbest ***absolutely tracks. I USED to get mad when people in movies did really obviously dumbshit, until I realized that's actually exactly what would happen.

Got a brand new sealed horizon forbidden west ps5 with an extra controller and headset for $600. At first I was like ew scalp, but... This one retails for $550 by itself so after I sell the headset I don't need I think I come out ahead. Thanks random internet stranger who may have stolen some of this stuff

Yeah they're not ridiculous anymore. I wasn't actually planning on getting one since there's still no PS5 exclusives (the couple PS exclusives I'd care to play have ps4 versions too and most of them are on or coming to PC so...) but I figured if I can get a brand new one for less than retail at the end of the day I may as well.

Last Night, 'Westworld' via "Generational Loss" hit the point I was hoping we'd get to for almost 6 years now. Bravo to Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan for layout of such an ambitious attempt entertainment wise and in my book, doing a pretty damn good job pulling it off. Definitely excited to see how some very old Easter Eggs from season2 might get their threads finally tied off in season4. (Man in Black post-credit scene from season2 with some version of his daughter is the big one I'm curious to see the when of that moment in the chronology.)

I still haven't gotten my hands on a PS5. I'm not in a hurry, as Proth said, it doesn't have an exclusive that I can't wait for.
