Three straight day of bovine meat. Life couldnt be better. I need to redo that more often And because we don't let food go bad in this household, I'll probably eat more for lunch tomorrow xD The secret is to figure out how much you're going to eat the day-of so you can leave any expectant leftovers slightly undercooked. That way they're perfect when you reheat them. what about real xers you *** BIGOT

Really is funny how often Metric and Imperial come up in conversation here lol
I hate how absolutely everything is 50/50 mm or inches. Just sheer assholery.
Also; lets wrap this phillips/flathead/torx/allen *** up too kthx Asura.Eiryl said: » Also; lets wrap this phillips/flathead/torx/allen *** up too kthx Now if there is such a thing as kilo-inch, mega-inch and no more feet and such then I am okay but who tf uses base 12 and base 16 with no other options?
Even computing these days use kilo, mega, giga even if they have weird multiplication of 1024 which everyone and their mama just want to round them to 1000 like proper easy to remember calculations. But I bet it's going to start a lot of arguments on here XD Freehugs said: » I kind of want to message them just to let them know I love their work but my need for cute froggy mayhem doesn't override their need for privacy. All of the links on their social media pages just stop after their last posted image. I hope they are just busy! Yeah, that always worries me too. For example, the Hyperbole and a Half creator (author of the image below) posted some pretty good stuff in her blog before suddenly dropping off the face of the planet, with her last post being about depression. It caused a fair amount of suicide speculation. Then she came back years later to announce a new book (which is quite good), showing that you can never really be sure what these creators are actually up to when they disappear. On a similar note, I miss GM Dave.... That was a great series. Bahamut.Ravael said: » Yeah, that always worries me too. Just now I went back and skimmed through a couple of paragraphs and still found myself laughing out loud SE somehow saw thru my attempt to double dip in their screenshot campaign ;/. It usually works but not this time I guess they looked at the actual account.

Exactly one person worth of skin if you flatten it out to 1 mm thick and spread it over a square mile. And persons freeze and die at 32F, way more accurate than water freezing at zero I said person based for temperature, not other measurements, each have a reason. Yes it makes more sense for people to comprehend temperature when it relates to them. I don't expect a Canadian to understand. But sure, rip on the scale used by a guy who made the first reproducible thermometer that was to a standard before he was even 30. I'm sure you've done things equally as important to human history in that time. Jetackuu said: » Yes it makes more sense for people to comprehend temperature when it relates to them. But temperature is all relative and arbitrary anyway. I know the idea is "0 degrees feels cold, 100 degrees feels hot", but anything colder than like 55 degrees or hotter than 85 degrees is already enough to start slowly killing you from exposure. At that point it's just a matter of how quickly, and how much you do to combat it. Fahrenheit was designed with its numbers chosen at random anyway. 30 degrees for freezing point of water (which was wrong) and 90 degrees for internal human body temperature (which was also wrong). So in defense of Celsius, at least it's based on something a little less arbitrary. Knowing the freezing and boiling points of water (on Earth) are handy for literally every science, and extremely useful for food storage and cooking. It's also helpful to know at a glance if you need to cover your garden from frost.
