my christmas gift to myself was a nice set of flatware. you have to do a soak and scrub to remove any of the residue left from the polishing process, and then do a normal wash in clean water.


quite the pain, but it looks so pretty laid out. no more funky mismatched forks, spoons, and knives!

Crossing my fingers that one of my Christmas gift can be getting my braces off so I can get my acting headshot and start acting again!

oof. braces can be a pain. good luck. i'm told it's life changing to be finished with them.

I went RDM to them, and whooo boy. My Verraise arm is getting a workout.

Today we went in with 5/8 people blind in Pandaemonium 4. The final fight...I did so many raises that I ran out of MP like 4 times, even chugging Super Ether HQ on top of Lucid on cooldown. I'd get our healers up, and they'd get more people up and go down again hehe.

I'm not sure how long the fight took us, but we never wiped... but at one point it was just me and a tank and a healer. We came back from that with natural raises. Then later on down the line, both tanks died and I was top of the agro list from not yet dying the whole fight, and that's when I died too lol, so literally everyone in the party died. It was hilarious.

Also I'm pretty sure there's no enrage in normal mode again, which makes the last time normal mode raids had an enrage still Deltascape lol.

Braces suck. They suck extra hard when your skin has the tensile strength of wet tissue paper, such that they cause endless canker sores. Those years were an eternity.

20 years later and I'm still finding those dumb little elastic bands everywhere too lol

Some of my mates in LS chat were complaining about other players spoiling the final fight last night but also commented the healers they had were.. incompetent.. to put it mildly, lol

Well, I just did floor 4 and I felt it was relatively tame. I did die to the first mechanical showing to three different mechanics but once I picked it up, it was no problem at that point.

I had more trouble with the third floor TBH, lol. It feels more party oriented than the 4th floor and thus more liable to individuals causing a wipe.

Time to farm for body pieces..

I often find myself looking at the construction plans that come across my desk for architectural ideas if I were to ever design a house. Maybe it's just personal taste, but some of these are just awful...

This one I'm working on right now is designed in such a way that the master bedroom sharing walls with the garage on one side and the kitchen on the other. The only way into the master bedroom is through the dining room and then the kitchen with an island in the middle you need to maneuver around. And along the bedroom wall is the hood vent and dishwasher. The kitchen also has no windows.

Student loans pushed back another few months. Another half answer.

P3S and P4S gonna be nuts. Already know those debuffs that you get for plugging the holes will come into play and there will be some sort of forced order for the flames in P3. Prolly need pairs for some of the ***in there too.

Hawkeye series is too short. Before watching the last episode, how the hell are they going to close this all up with only 1 episode left. it can't be anything but disatisfactory/rushed.

It is a longer episode though, so maybe they can stuff it all in adequately.

I'm not going to be remotely surprised if there are 8 flames but you only get four marks and you need to be able to break all 8.

That or there is going to be white and black flames and people are going to get white and black AoEs

i'm actually going to be selling my house next year. you go through the door to the master bedroom and the same corner has the entrance to the master bath. meaning if you have the door all the way open, it blocks the entrance to the master bath, which also has it's own door. so it's like



and then the master bathroom has his and hers walk in closets on either side of the the shower/bath, meaning it would be an absolute pain to redo, and if a leak hits on either side, someones clothes are getting ruined...


the kitchen... i wont even get in to it -.-

Hawkeye had a great finale and is easily the best Marvel show they have done.

A little rushed but yeah. They managed to get it all covered.

I always feel most of them are too short, they could just be a movie really. Its like 25m of screen time and 20m of credits.

I often wonder if stuff like that is a really adamant would-be homeowner that just has no idea how to visualize stuff, or if the architect is to blame. I mean, to each their own, right? And at least it means not every home is exactly the same layout.

I don't think its rushed. Tell the story. Mandalorian is 16 episodes, 10 of them are skippable. Boba Fett starts next week, if they follow the Hawkeye pattern, it's already better than Mando.

honestly some decisions are basically criminal imo.

Layout should be talked about more when buying a house. Renovations are one thing, but tearing down walls or overhauling rooms is a colossal expense. Especially in older houses where a lot of the interior walls are load-bearing.

My parents watch HGTV a lot and every home renovation show has a shock before the commercial break. "Oh no, that wall was load-bearing?!?!" DUN-DUN-DAAA

Those reno/buying house shows are so much fun.

I walk dogs and she babysits for the neighbors, our budget is FIVE MILLION DOLLARS.

tbf to my current home, i was looking at houses and making offers for about 9 months and finally got in as the first person to view the house. made an offer just out of sheer frustration with the search. it's been a good home, a good investment, but i'm ready to gtfo.
