The jobs are so different in XIV it doesn't mater what you play in XI. I was career RDM, can't really get into XIV's RDM but having fun with BRD and DNC.

Load up the free trial and see if you like the game. I like starting as archer which becomes BRD. I never leveled BRD in XI at all because RDM/BRD just doesn't work.

I'm not bitter, I thought it was funny actually as I like a lot of their emotes. They have the beer emote, a pizza emote and I said they would have a fart emote. I think you're a little on edge there.

in other news, the Immerse Audio XIV Game Pack sounds *** great. Definitely recommend giving it a try, think they just extended the free trial to 3 weeks on it and then it's $20 a year or something for a license. You dont need special hardware for it, just a headset.

Anyway, I made the mistake of describing the Healer's Cap as such. It was even worse because my first real character was a Tarutaru. And, well, my parents started questioning my access to the game >_>;;;
