Yes, nowaday costumers need to buy what the companies want, use what the companies want, install things that the company want, concede data that the company want, pay and still be happy about it.

Average costumer do all that and still do it happily.

I just watched a Spongebob analysis.

How that serie went strong for so many years while many other cartoons that started around same time succumbed already.

One of the factors mentioned seemed quite interesting to me: The parallel of Spongebob and Squidward with the young and mature age of the so called “millenials”.

The people who grow together with the internet, that increasingly started to be showered by much information, so many new shiny technologies (the spongebob age) but in the end they found themselves in a too competitive world. Not bright anymore. Not shine, but boring, where most of them have to struggle with shitty jobs for low income and a not so glamorous life. Thats the squidward age.

And for those, watching Spongebob again means going back to an age where everything seemed promising, but for many, that promise was never filfulled.

Kinda sad if you ask me. The price of a magic childhood era is a wild, cold and too professional adulthood.

I think im a little older than spongebob target age at its release so i never watched any full episode of it, but i can relate with the frustration many young people must be facing nowaday. Its not their fault that the world accelerated that much in so short period of time.

And for what did we accelerate that much? Thats a tough questiontoo

Happy Thanksgiving, Y’all!
Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to hang out with my parents for the last day and a half. Tonight we had an 18-lb turkey, a ham, holopchi, sweet & sour meatballs, sweet chili meatballs, potatoes, gravy, two different kinds of stuffing, brussels sprouts, and baked pineapple.

For dessert, we had pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake.

All of that for four people. My mom likes leftovers lol

Um, yum. We had the turkey as well, but since we're half greek, we picked up some chicken and pork souvlaki.

I had to google the Holopchi. Definitely gotta try it.

I love how easy it is to weave cultural cuisine into the big meals. Holopchi and pierogi are pretty standard at our table. We even had kubasa-style hot dogs the night before, on which I threw a beets & horseradish-based hot sauce. My mom's side of the family is pure Ukrainian.

Hate speech! Hate speech! Cancel Viciouss!

Oh wait. This isn't Twitter and hot takes are allowed.

Superman's son and Robin being bi is like DC dipping their toes in the pool of social virtue signaling to be on the bandwagon. They need to go all-in and have actual Superman kiss Batman or at least Clark Kent kiss Bruce Wayne because

At least Marvel had the balls to make Wolverine, Cyclops, and Jean Grey all bi in a trouple relationship.

Wolverine imagining Cyclops in a speedo. Classic Marvel moment.

If there is an afterlife in the way that our tiny little human monkey brains can fathom and understand it, I'd love to have all of my questions that I ever had about Final Fantasy XI answered. Like... with no SquareEnix fluff, I'd like to hear the actual number of players (not RMT). I'd love to know what ever happened to the friends I've had over the years that just up and vanished one day. That sort of thing.

Obviously, my OCD must know exactly how many breaths and heartbeats I had while alive too. The afterlife is going to be fun until it's not. Then I'll just haunt some people.

And what were the original spawn conditions for the Almighty Apkallu? I MUST KNOW.

But seriously, having friends disappear from the game is one of the things that sucks the most, and it's one big disadvantage of making friends in an environment of anonymity. I can't even track them down on Facebook or whatever. They're just gone, leaving me to wonder.
