I don't know how many people watch ProJared on YouTube, but he just put out his FFX review, which means XI is next. I'm really curious to see his thoughts on this game, since he's been pretty fair to each Final Fantasy so far...
Did I miss something, I think I asked before but I forgot, wasn't he "cancelled"?

Those allegations were essentially proven either entirely false or incredibly not credible, depending on your perspective.
tl;dr some shady people assembled to throw allegations his way to try to smear him and then setup requests for donations once they received attention
Your opinion on whether or not he should have been sharing nude photos with his fanbase may differ (I think it's a bad idea, myself), but I'd say the guy is innocent of soliciting dirty pictures from people he knew were minors like they tried to make it out to be.
I mean, i dont know who this guy is, but what is to review on FFXI? Its not like there is a complex main plot underneath this game.
I'd recommend giving his other videos a watch, that might give you some idea. He mostly just talks about the pros and cons. He usually talks about his past experiences compared to present, how well the game aged, and what it did to differentiate itself in the series.
Plus, he said he's doing all of the numbered Final Fantasies and nothing else (yet). Given how much music he uses from XI in his videos, I'm expecting a fair trial. He's enough of an authority on the Final Fantasy franchise that I assume any amount of positivity might draw in a few more players.

I do, and I know he played it. It's on his shelf, and he's said positive things about it before... I wonder though, if he'll have retried it in its current state or will have to give some of its shakier things the critical slap on the wrist.
Like, replaying it now for my LP, one thing that I just accepted as the norm without much though back then was what triggers story cutscenes... Like they just happen suddenly on zoning if you met the prereqs, which is hilariously jarring... at least if you're trying to record(or not trying to but you died while grinding because you've reverted to nubcakesMcGee from not playing for 4 years).
I rather like ProJared. That public divorce stuff in 2019 was pretty rough for him, and I'm glad I was right that he wasn't being skeevy(just really unsettling in that Sailor Mercury outfit *shudders*).
Huh, that's interesting. I wonder if there's food that have the protein thingie. Also I wonder what the effect of caffeine is on this.
I don't work another job, so I sleep usually about 6~9 hours a day, during the day, with a cover for my window. Still have health issues due to lack of sun, lack of space, and the need for additional noise to drown out other noises (street cars/TV from others etc).
I use stuff like the Jellyfish Sea song from Chrono Cross or one of those XXHz Delta Brainwave sleep inducer song vids or whatever lol(sounds like peaceful Earthbound music).
Had someone asked me who it was before, I would respond its a time spawned mob thats overly camped because drops an item used for many empyreal weapons...

A friend of mine told me that PJ records a lot of the footage for his reviews while streaming for Twitch, so I checked out a recent VOD of him playing XI. It looks like he's playing on a private legacy server. I wonder if that means he's going to compare ye olde days and the modern game or if he's going to solely talk about the pre-Abyssea stuff. I can't see it being a fair overview if he doesn't talk about the latter half of a game's patches.

That's the kind of stuff I'd hope they iron out if they ever gave the game a remaster. I don't want the gameplay or story to change, but there's too much jank. You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get to the good stuff.
Watched the game review, read the manga (which is a prequel to the game). Yeah, sad story.
The anxiety over a decaying body, resulting in the old evil machiavel: the ends justify the means.
Unfortunelly everything in life is chance. You can happen to live a good life. You can happen to live a ***life. You can happen to start a good life but go downhill at some point. You can start a ***life but find the light before the ending.
If that conforts you, life is just a grain of sand. Despite what the life is, the start and the end is the same for everyone.
Actually your conciousness never leaves your body!
All your ancestors are fully conscious despite not breathing anymore. But they are for centuries just staring the darkness below the earth.
And thats your destiny too! An endless emptyness.
So, if I'm following your hypothetical situation here and we are under the assumption that consciousness is a single point perspective, then it makes no sense to have it tied to a body that is decaying as the material that makes up our body will spread out over time. It makes even less sense to assume that it is tied to an arbitrary location under the ground or whatever. Therefore, if consciousness is indeed a separate and eternal entity, then it will exist outside of its physical shackles by utilizing senses that are currently unknown to us (if it has no senses with which to form a perspective, then it technically can't be called consciousness).
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
