Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Yikes they are forcing people to pay 50 bucks to get tested for covid before going in a plane. I guess the vaccine doesnt matter anymore, they gotta profit somehow. Not even leaving NYC did they ask for a test or vaccine. Spain trying to make that money.
Im ok with that.

At least they gave us the digital one right away. Apparently there's a card shortage or something. Welcome to current year, where there is a shortage on absolutely everything that there can be.... except stupid, there's a surplus of that.

Thanks but no thanks Garuda.Chanti said: » I got a physical card when I got the jab.... On one hand, they're smart enough to cover themselves by allowing a digital QR code you can show on your phone while you wait for the card to be delivered. But on the other hand, when they first started doing it they were documenting that people had their second shot in the wrong place. People were denied their card application because it hadn't been recorded that they had it done, but when they'd go to register again for their second shot it would tell them they couldn't because they already had two shots lmao If not for the citizens taking every initiative, we'd be as bad as Alberta right now. Mine is laying around here somewhere, but I don't need it for anything Offline

I would never have guessed that lotteries purpose was to trap time travelers.
I guess thats a good explanation why yearly at least 50 new millionaires born in every country that do lotteries but we never hear anything about those or even know anyone who locked out big. So here is the tip guys, watchout with lottery. You can win one day, then be "erased" forever the next one. So here is the tip guys, watchout with lottery. You can win one day, then be "erased" forever the next one. There's some recent study that says that ~70% of lottery winners end up broke and one-third end up declaring bankruptcy. You probably don't hear much about the others because it's smarter to be quiet about the fact that you won the lottery. Otherwise, you end up being bombarded by family, friends, and randos who think they deserve a slice of the pie. There is no point to a vaccine card... at least not in NYC. I think they "require" them for some bars and places, but you can just show a pic of any vaccine card and they don't even look.
I initially got it to travel, because I travel every month, and not once have I been asked for a vaccine card in US or Europe. All a money making machine, first they push the vaccines and now you must pay for tests any time you travel. In a city here they even created some local law to allow people on pubs/restaurants just if they took the vaccine.
It was a measure criticized by the owners. Personally i dont like this card or whatever idea simply because it will just give reason for more discrimination. Technically the most exposed people are the ones who didnt take any vaccine for whatever reason. Still they want to make just the more exposed people to be the culprit for some virus Its all a plan to divide the population. Divide and conquer, etc It's a sad state of affairs, innit?

Better production of antibodies related to entire tree's of covid, not just 19. Full protection of 9 months, then half life from there. Science isn't settled on it but that's my limited understanding on it. Currently unvaxxed and will remain unvaxxed until I die. Caught the coof already and recovered, fit, low BMI, no comorbidities. edit: In other news I am alive, did almost kick the bucket with appendicitis though. Then probably caught covid from the hospital or from my mexican cousin making me tacos (covid tacos). The world is a harsh place when you can catch covid from a taco. Gonna just grab some information ive been receiving from media about vaccine:
- it doesnt entirely prevent someone to contract the disease but reduces the chance - it doesnt entirely prevent someone to recontract the disease but reduces the chance - it doesnt entirely prevent someone who contracted it to manifest simptoms but reduces the chance of having fatal ones. Also, people who dont take the vaccine could be for many reason, either because they arent willing to take but also because their country is poor and the vaccine didnt reach entire population, or some medical recomendation to not to take. Past this point is just my personal view of the situation. Suppose some office building decides that it will just allow people to enter there if they took the vaccine. In this case, it will allow the people who are less susceptible to contract it and/or if it does, to have the less dangerous version of it. While the one who didnt take any and that are more susceptible to contract it once, twice or as many as he can, and are more susceptible to have fatal danger, cant enter. Looking from the outside, imo it seems like they are protecting the people who are more protected already, while discriminating people who can have the disease in its worst form. Thats why im ok with demanding exams. Exams is true or false (given its accuracy obviously). You got positive, just turn back and go back to your home and rest. But demanding vaccine, i think its quite unfair because youre just considering chances. Offline

On another note, all of my male* cousins from my father's side (mexican side) had our appendix's blow between ages 27-32 ALL within a few days of 4th of July. Not at the same time, but every year when the 4th would roll around it would claim another one of us. Genetics and environment are crazy.
I think overall the idea is they want as many people to get the vaccine as possible, because if we can eliminate the illness altogether it has no chance of mutating to a point where it bypasses the vaccine. By limiting what the control group have access to, it encourages them to get the vaccine without forcing it while also limiting its spread as much as possible.
Thankfully I'm at a point now where, at least temporarily, I don't have to worry so much. Everyone I care about IRL is already vaccinated, and my province is already at 82% for the first dose. Until the next major variant evolves, the odds of me getting the virus are super slim. Unlike the lockdowns and masks, you guys not getting vaccines doesn't really affect me so I don't care. But because I do like the people of this forum, I do vouch for the vaccines' efficacy and hope you get it. Offline

This will become something similar to a seasonal flu as have other coronaviruses. To begin with respiratory related viruses have never been able to have been vaccinated out of existence. Point is, I'm not getting it, and I'm willing to die not to get it. If anyone has any further questions for me they can hit me up privately on discord and we can talk about the science/faith reasons why I refuse it. This has been the line in the sand though.
