Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

Till the 2nd gen (the last i can remmeber something), i dont think it was ever implemented a further evolution after a “stone”-type evolution. Making Pikachu evolving from Raichu would break the stone-type evolution monsters paragidm.

Interestingly though, they do introduced three stage evolution on Pikachu byt gibing him a pre-stage of Pichu. What overall should be just a waste of memory space, just to make an even more “cuter” Pikachu i guess.

I guess Pikachu was just a nobody before the anime, and i guess he was just chosen to keep the neutrality of the three base pokemons, to not make a single one more important than the other, and in terms of game, Pikachu was the very first wild Pokemon with any sort of visual, after all, they wouldnt be selling any anime with Ash going on adventure with his best friend….. Caterpillar. Or Weedle. Or other of the first insect type monsters available at the very start. So, Pikachu is Pikachu by sheer chance, funny thing though, even the rat thunder type seems like out of context to appear in the wild so soon, it doesnt seems like a logical design choice from developers as it didnt even help on the very first gym, rock type. For those that choose Charmander like me (i guess he was the coolest out of the three, you only option was evolving Caterpie to Butterfly or brute force through the rocks.

I just liked the art concept of Gorochu because its arts reminds me the original generation art style, mainly the color style what also reminds old generation mangas coloration, that care with color tones, going from a more dense core then fading to entire white in the borderlines, thats a lot of nostalgia.

He. ***. LOVES. The friskies now, won't even touch temptations. And after he noms the pile he headbutts me for more. He's gonna kill me in my sleep if I don't give him more and more lol.

That's why I jokingly brought up FFXI's politics the other day. I love the dynamics between various races and countries. Every race has such a stand-out personality. Of all the fantasy races I've come across, Mithra are my favourite. I love that, as a Mithra player, they actually make you feel uncomfortable in countries controlled by the race with which they've had a history of naval conflict.

I've always preferred Pichu and Raichu to Pikachu. I especially like Alolan Raichu. Being landlocked, I'm not even into surfer culture, but I love the design.

Oh yeah, I remember Surfing Pikachu. I remember how busted-OP it was to give a water move to an electric-type back in the day. Someone sends out Graveler to deal with your Pikachu and then you hit it with frigging Surf.

All this Pikachu making me think of Chuuuuu!
