i baked two potatoes last night in preparation for romanoff potatoes tonight. doing a 6-8 hour dry brine on a 2 1/2 in thick 1lb ribeye. it'll be salted and rested in the fridge for the first 6 hours then pulled and rested countertop for 2ish hours then reverse seared and served with the romanoff potatoes. have a bottle of moet to drink while cooking/eating and a bottle of absinthe for after.

It's only recently I started eating curry. Took me a long time to get into it, but I've grown quite the taste for it.

I actually had butter chicken poutine a little while ago. It's way better than you'd expect.

I never was a fan of Indian curry, but I don't exactly hate it either.

Thai curry, on the other hand, is absolutely incredible when done right. I didn't want to try it when I first heard about it because I thought it would taste like Indian curry, but it's not even close. It's easily in my top 5 foods list.

Curry has become universal. As well as Indian and Thai curries I have had Japanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Mexican, and Argentinean curries, that last came in a hand pie, I forget the name*.

I used a Japanese curry base last night.

Edit *Empanada? Also there is curry hum bao.

Played the original a lot when it came out. Very tough and very fun. Especially the hard mode. Not sure what the new version is like, but I hope they didn't tone it down.

Well considering Veronica Mars did the same thing and BOMBED, I wouldn't get your hopes up. Combine that with the horrible endings of Supernatural and the 100, I'm betting on a trainwreck.

Supernatural ending kinda got boned by the zombie apocalypse so that's sightly unfair.

(Dexter is a book series? Googling......)

He's done Hedwig on Broadway, and started a band.

What worries me is all the interviews I've read so far, he is REALLY excited about the Dexter revival. My guess is Dexter dies, so Hall can "move on" (a la Johnny Depp in 21 Jumpstreet).

Other than that, the cast looks solid, and I personally CAN'T WAIT.

I used to have a life-size cutout of Dexter so I could sleep good at night.

I ordered Crave TV to binge and watch Dexter for the first time. It was OK. Definitely a lack luster ending. Not sure what they were going for.
