Yep, that's pretty much humanities future I think, unless there is some outside force is put into place to change it. A tiny elite class of intelligent people running a mass army of less elite individuals. If you look at modern society with this in mind you see a lot of efforts to try control how things go, that fly under the radar.
BC escalated the problem far above what it would normally be, most intelligent people can just opt out of the gene pool easily for whatever reason when they never normally could. This is catastrophic for the future of humanity honestly, but it is what it is.
I know this is verging on forbidden but yeah, depressing really.

MTG still grosses more per year than most video games do in their lifetimes. It's a big IP from an even bigger brand. Doesn't surprise me at all that they're trying to break into MMOs for a quick buck.
Don't get me wrong, I'm certain it will make money. People will play it.

I've got the hand-eye coordination of a sea sponge.

That said, sitting at my PC all day has done a number on my ***. Massive hemorrhoid pain. Love how I have 2 inches of rectum and no actual use of it whatsoever besides pissing out of it erroneously but I got to keep the roids.

The value probably is tied to the userbase. So, overnight, millions users gonna fall in MS database.

Someone is just profiting over you, and you are just not noticing, or worse, you arent even receiving your share of it.

Yep, when they throw this kind of money around they aren't buying the thing itself. They are buying the locked in userbase.

I'm glad to see that not only did our software update not fix a single one of the bugs and glitches that cause work to just disappear or the program to crash randomly about 2-4 times an hour, I've encountered 3 new issues since we "upgraded" a week ago.
One of which affects a workaround that I'd already come up with for an existing issue. Now it crashes when I do the thing that allowed me to prevent the program from crashing. And when it crashes, it doesn't boot me out, so it says "Another user is already working on this job. Please wait for them to exit".

Canada (and my province in particular) got some hefty delays on vaccines. I'm a healthy young'ish person whose career is outside of health care, so that puts me pretty far down the list. I'm bumped even further down the list because my job can easily be done from home, and almost all of my peers are doing so. But my Wisconsin-born boss has been adamant about us commuting physically to work, even after we had two separate outbreaks.

Its time for me to remember my roots. This shutdown has really killed my artistic spirit, and not being able to play in ensembles or teach has resulted in very poor practice habits.

i've got 21 emails about attempted log-in's to my steam account in the last 2 days. the thing is they are all addressed to an email i don't use to sign-in to steam... nice try hyackers, but i'm nut dum.
So god damn annoying all the phishing emails you get, all it takes is one day when you're stupid and you're screwed.
