It doesn't matter if a company can fully remove all humans from the process, unless governments allow industry to do whatever they want they will still need humans to monitor them. There are lots of rules imposed on businesses that they don't want imposed on them, it's not a choice. They are forced to comply to the rules.
With social media, MSM etc now it's incredibly easy to create scares and outrage if they tried this too, if some company went full automation certain groups could create mass uproar and boycotts etc This is laughably easy now and companies are more fearful of public anger than ever before.
Also as you move forward, new industries are created to take the place of the old. So even if some jobs are phased out completely, others will take their place.
Jobs that have been created this generation, that never existed before are things like Esports players, youtubers, streamers, the computer graphics industries for movies, video game developers among many others. As workers have more free time, entertainment industries grow larger.
