The universe established in FF Tactics could have so many amazing stories. I don't even want a remake, I want to see more perspectives and timelines. Let's really flesh out Ivalice.
Actually I think that's one of my favourite things about Tactics in the first place. Through the main story you'd see everything you needed to, but there was so much more to uncover by reading entries in the Brave Story.
But would that sell? Square-Enix seems to want to shift away from turn-based games overall, and a turn-based strategy game probably doesn't have a huge market these days. And then there's me, going out of my way to buy games like XCOM, BattleTech, and Fell Seal just to get my fix x_x

i got x when it came out and i've never beaten it a second time. i've never played xii because ya know... xi was a thing.... they both seem complicated and i need more a distraction from xi grinding. i might just do ix.

I would recommend X for more fun. XII for more grindy adventures, but a bad story, bad cast, bad voiceovers, bad summons, bad combat system, more content though.

I had a lot of fun with FFX, but most of the characters never clicked with me. Tidus was... Tidus... and I always thought of Yuna as being only slightly less bland than Rinoa. But it's worth noting there are many rabid Yuna fans who would fight me for saying that. /shrug.
Auron and Jecht just about redeem the entire cast on their own, though.

Now that I think about it, screw the FFX-3 storyline that has been in limbo for ages. An FFX prequel about Braska's journey with Jecht and Auron would have way more potential.

this got my first + in over a year i think.
so i haven't really heard any opinions on xii, i just know a bit about how the leveling system works. it seems like they tried to make xi an offline game from what i remember.

Literally every store in the county has no turdball noms. All the friskies, all the temptations, even meijer store brand. Dood up at meijer said they might not get ANY cat noms for the rest of the year. No idea where he was pulling that information from.

12 is not challenging at all, outside of the super bosses, gameplay is a bland version of 11 too, i just like the open world in it, nothing would ever beat 9 6, an 11, although 9 and 6 mechanics are very simple

I went to 3 petsmarts, both meijers, 2 krogers, a target - no (dry) treats at any of em. (Shouldve took pictures of empty shelves lol it's hard to believe)

The companies that make them will probably have to relocate the factories to china over the coming years, or just go out of business and be replaced with cheap imported brands...from china.
