never thought i'd do a private server, but here i am. eden is better than i expected. pretty legit toau era experience except everyone tends to know more about the game. decent pop, economy has some problems, but making gil isn't too difficult.

i solo'd for a good portion of it, but this is some of the fastest xp. been capping skills on puddings in halvung, which like no blm here does. can get solo chain without even meriting yet.

first pic almost looks like, 'legend of mana', which definitely deserves a remake. one of the most deep crafting systems of any game ever.
your best bet for older games is romhacks, studios have proven near entirely incompetent to be true to a title, I think the one exception to this rule off the top of my head is LoZ: ALBW. Also the remake of ALA was decent.
Granted they didn't try to do anything crazy with it, which there's a lot to unpack there

The thing that drove him to success is the same thing that drove bill gates, mark zuckerberg and all the others to be a success.
The will and drive to succeed + competence + luck, playing video games doesn't do anything positive in making you into some mega achiever in real life anymore than any other hobby. Actually modern games are no better than watching a movie, at least back in the day you had to really work hard to beat a game and saw that game over screen over and over again. Now you are near guaranteed to beat every game you buy.
I would go further and say certain video games can in-fact be a negative to people who are driven to succeed, because they can get stuck channeling that drive into pointless video game achievements and not real life things.
