It's far from that simple.
UBI is about freedom. You aren't enslaved. You don't have to work 40+ hours a week at a job you hate. yeah some would obviously take advantage of that. But with those people taking advantage of it, the job they no longer work opens to people if they want it. You assume everyone would just do absolutely nothing and get paid because you would. It really doesn't work out that way.
You won't be able to buy a house or a car or 22" spinning rims or goldplated Iphone16 on UBI. People still want that so they'll still work. Work for the stuff you want instead of working to live isn't an unreasonable option.

Persona 5R get! If they release Persona 5R Crimsion Big *** all in one GOTY DELUXE booby edition I refuse to buy it. They already got me since I bought/preordered the normal P5 when it first came out. Oh well, more Steelbooks for me!
P5R will be the next game I pick up, probably another week. FF7R was amazing, but I'm not caring for the "endgame."
