Since I'm raiding again this tier as a tank I wanted to make sure my tanks were all capped for flexing and then start doing melee for additional flex down the road.
Basically my focus is always combat first crafting/gathering second.
On top of that FC member both new and old have been coming back so I've been trying to setup new things to keep people interested, I'd like to start with actually using our meeting room for weekly/biweekly/monthly meetings so that I can actually better listen to people and help rather than letting things fester.

Also, October is kindof nice in Houston. Only 90-95 degrees with 70+ humidity, so should feel like 99.
But if I were you, I would stay away from anywhere south of IH10. Especially the further west you go. You will see things that may change your perspective in life.
Like good food. And tacos. And spiders so large only Australia can compete with. And big fat nothing for miles on end, taunting you with it's complete nothingness that makes you wonder why you exist in the first place.

I think the furthest south I've been is Victoria, Texas.
That said I like the high degrees in Texas more than in Iowa. Iowa's humidity just hits you like a truck. I did summer in Texas one year dressed in a Black Butler cosplay outside 90% of the time. Didn't feel overheated or sweat once. It felt so nice.

Don't know why Iowa would have so much humidity though. I know you guys are next to a lake, but at the very least it should be as oppressive here as it is there.

It was in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Then I went down to Victoria to visit a friend's family.

Dallas doesn't have the humidity levels as South Texas does. Sure, it can be humid at times, but not 95+% of the time as it does in San Antonio.
Then again, sea breeze showers are a thing here. So there's some trade-offs.
But if you want good food, the best are the small restaurants outside of city limits. The ones who do not even have a sign outside. You can usually tell if they are restaurants by the number of cars outside and the orange and/or purple painting on the walls.
It's got to be orange and/or purple, otherwise you are just asking for it!

Kinda surprised to hear about humidity in Iowa, it was nothing in Chicago, which is literally right on Lake Michigan. But then again I was coming from San Marcos TX so I knew what real humidity was.

The whole area exploded. We got all sorts of people fleeing other states, such as New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, California, Oregon, and Washington.
It also doesn't hurt that Texas was one of only 2 states who were not effected by the housing crisis and the Great Recession that ended (finally) in 2016.
Every city in the area exploded. Including La Vernia. *** La Vernia! Whose only reason for existence is being between Victoria and San Antonio, but damn we had to put the rejects somewhere. Might as well be there!
In the past 10 years we have had 15 major corporations move in with various industrial plants, the largest one being Caterpillar. Only real problem we have is too many mini-malls!

Only place I have ever seen humidity over 100%.
