I wouldn't know. :( You have to be level 50 and a high grand company rank (maybe even finish the ARR story too, idr) to even get a room in your FC house. Its so unfriendly for new players. The mog house helped hook me with XI and I expected something similar but nope. I'd be content with decorating the inn room but that is apparently not possible. I don't even go into the inn room except to fool around with glamor plates.
You can get an apartment though.

Mine is in Mist, Ward 11, main division. Forget the room number but if you want to poke around there, you are more than welcome to come by and clean visit.

Only costs 500k.

I'll probably never be able to get a house, cause there is just none available and those that are are generally scooped up before I can get to them.

I was on visiting people last night on Leviathan. I really should go to my summer home more often.

Also, the GC rank really isn't too bad, since all you need to do is spend GC seals which you should get plenty of by spamming fates while you level.

I don't know I'm weird.

I see really great designs here and there , online, but usually those require to sacrifice another room, near capping item space.
FC house is weird, cause most of the item count is on the basement.

I feel like we should redesign the basement too. The table isn't used much so we could adjust it, maybe change it to the round table so that it converts into a single item. We'll have to talk about it a bit.

Maybe we can make a floor plan or something so we have a better idea.

Or level up crafting. Heck, probably can get it all the way up to the highest in about a week if you craft level through supply quests.
